The staff services, the room and the swimming pool are excellent. The breakfast buffets are also fantastic with many choices. But, lunches and dinners are awful. The worst part is that it is so noisy day and night with Russian music, from 9:00am to 10:00pm. Next to my room is the performing stage to entertain Russians who occupied almost the entire hotel. Simply put, it is not a place for relaxing and to enjoying the beach. I definitely will not return.

Don’t be tricked by the rating and price.
The rating for this hotel is 4.5 stars and i was hooked because of the price but when i checked in they sent me to an outside small building with cheap design and construction which is about 2 star quality. I was bery disappointed. Should have booked Muong Thanh for a nicer hotel. The buffet is a waste of money. 25$ no seafood no beef only cheap items. The selections were very mediocre. The cooking was terrible. Eat at a small sea food on the beach next door.

More than meet my expectation!!
Vietnam was always a destination I wanted to go to. And sometimes finding a good and reliable hotel can be very difficult. But Sailing Bay Beach and Resort exceed my expectation. Hotel room is clean, nice view, good in maintenance, direct to the beach, lots of food options. And hotel staff are friendly and helpful. It made my stay in Mui Ne unforgettable! Sailing Bay Beach and Resort is AMAZING indeed!!!

This hotel is dominated by Russians. That’s probably a good thing if you are Russian, but if you are not you should think twice before booking this hotel. The pool area looks good, but the atmosphere is, in our experience, unbearable: loud techno music, shouting and aggressive people both young and old. The superior rooms are bungalows behind the hotel. The bungalows still smell of paint and can hardly be described as charming. The upgrade of 400.000vdk to a better room is well worth it: the room is decent, the shower has a good size and the porch is convenient. That is, of course, only until you realize you can’t use it due to the noisy pool area. The beach is wide and extends far in both directions. It is however littered with garbage. The restaurant serves very basic meals. The breakfast buffet was littered with flies. My girlfriend and I left after a single day. We didn’t realize the hotel offered a free shuttle bus from Mui Ne back to Phan Thiet and asked if the hotel could direct us to the local bus. We were told there was no bus and pitched a taxi ride to us for +1mill vdk. We then left, walked to the Mui Ne market and asked one of the locals: the bus departs from the Mui Ne market to Phan Thiet every 15 minutes for about 30k vdk depending on your luggage. The staff in Sailing Bay is decent but does not come across as friendly or professional. However, the Luggage handler was a great guy: funny and honest. Staff needed to verify everything with the manager.

Awful overrated resort!
It's awful! While we prepaid for the booking, upon arrival the hotel couldn't find our booking. When they finally found it (by using my name), the booking number didn't match. And they claimed that we only booked for 2 adults while our booking clearly stated that it's for 2 adults and 1 kid. They refused to accept that and charged extra for our kid (including her breakfast). The first night they put us in a 2-star bungalow with the AC not working and a leaked toilet. It's really no more than a 3-star resort in term of both amenities and services.

The hotel staff were extremely helpful booking us a bus to our next stop and an amazing tour of the sand dunes. The location is great. Outside of the main town so really nice and secluded. The beach was beautiful.

Spacious and clean but lack of technica servicing
The room itself is pretty big and spacious. Like that it was all clean and tidy. The bathroom also comes with a bathtub and shower area. The resort also comes with a big swimming pool and a gym which i have no time to check it out due to tight travel schedule. However, for my room, the safe box was not working. The air con initially was not working properly as well till we inform the staff and they got somebody in to fix it. The worse part is the power supply on one side of the room, which are all not working at all. This includes the phone line, the bedside lights and all the power sockets there. Location wise it is located very far end inside of the road, much further away from all the main seafood restaurants.

Pool is gorgeous but rooms are atrocious
Very mixed about our stay here. The pool, restaurant and location were incredible. However we received a room that was an absolute dump. The bathroom constantly smelt like an outhouse presumably from issues with plumbing, the walls were missing wallpaper, safe constantly would malfunction locking our belongings inside, noise from the nightly galas was excessive. Overall would not recommend for the money.

It was great stay. We really enjoyed the private beach and the swimming pool area. Breakfast was great although it stoped serving quite earlier than we expected (at 9:30, it should be 10). pool side bar was ok, drinks werent at the very right taste and quite pricy. They should change all the "plastic glasses" to be real glass glasses. The location was good for us, it's little far away from the tourism center.

Nice place, in the middle of nowhere.
Mui Ne is known for being windy; a great place to kite surf, not so much fun for just sitting around! Our resort was very nice, lots of chairs around the pool, enough umbrellas for all, and staff always ready to bring cushions, drinks or food. Breakfast was fantastic, dinner not so much so. Free shuttle into town for the afternoon/evening. Downsides... internet was often slow, rooms were not cleaned until late in the afternoon (just when we wanted to return!), our safe malfunctioned 3 times, the door to our balcony wouldn't seal, so the wind whistled through it all night, one day the shower water ran DARK brown for about 5 minutes, fridge didn't keep anything cold. All of these things were minor annoyances, but they did add up.

A 4 stars hotel with 2 stars service
I didn't feel welcomed on arrival. Staffs weren't attentive. You are only worth the service you provided and your service is 2 stars at best. They didn't even know of my arrival or what type of room I booked. I booked for 3 adults and they told me the rooms is only for 2, but the worst thing was the room was not prepared for 3. Food is just ok and there is no recreational activities. The only good thing is they have a nice pool/private beach and is far and quiet if you like the peaceful atmosphere. Highly recommended to stay somewhere else unless this is the last option.

Great resort!
We really enjoyed the resort, including the private beach. The resort is a bit far from the main area of town, requiring a taxi to get to off-site restaurants and activities. While the resort offered a shuttle, the times weren't really convenient. If you're looking for the resort experience, this is a great option, especially for the price. Would definitely recommend -- just want to alert potential guests about the very minor inconvenience of being removed from the main area of town.

Great Resort!
We had great weather and really yummy food! On the resort, there was a wide selection of food at the breakfast buffet, ranging from American breakfast foods, fresh local fruit, and traditional Vietnamese dishes. Off the resort, it was easy to find tasty seafood. We got a seafood hot pot and it was amazing and reasonably priced. We would recommend getting a scooter as some of the sightseeing is located 10km+ from the resort.

Great hotel. We stayed in a deluxe seaview. Balcony was huge. Airconditioners worked gteat. Fanstatic breakfast and staff were great. Quiet while we were here. Beach lovely.10 minute cab ride into town which was fine.

Very beautiful place, cleanliness was good. Pool is big but not clean, alot of sand and dirt. Room was all good with a balcony but alot of mosquito everywhere in the night, i cant even eat peacfully at the restaurant although i understand its very hard to prevent in such area. A little hard to communicate as not many hotel staff is well verse in english but luckily my wife knows vietnamese language so not much of a problem for me. I stayed at lvl3(305) and the wifi is out of reach, i have to go out to the balcony reach my hand out to get that one bit of signal. I hope they will look into that. It takes 7-10usd to get out to town area. Over all, nice place with beautiful view

We stayed at the premier room. First we toured around and see that the jacuzzi was dirty and later on found out its broken. Also behind the room is a small road, was noisy and uncomfortable. It's not a private beach, so it's not very clean, and crowded. The employee knew us were in the room but didn't knock and entered without permission, how rude.

Went on a tour through the hotel and they provided a guide. Took us to eat at a small local restaurant which was someones house. Awesome experience.

4 stars with lousy services
First and last time staying at this hotel. 4 stars with lousy services. Need to improve in a lot of areas especially staffs performance. First impression, nobody welcome and smile during check in. Next day morning ordered the noodle soup. Omg! taste was terrible but charged at 4 starts price. Next day they had event for outside guests. Start from 2pm to until 10pm. I tried to understand but my patient level gone away when I tried to order some glasses. Restaurant staff told me that they are busy with cleaning for this event and told me to come down and take the glasses by myself. I can't even believe that they are running 4 stars, I repeat 4 stars, and what kind of attitude and service is that? This was not stop here. So I tried to talk to so call team leader and in the end he brought glasses. However I ordered 4 but end up getting 8 different shapes and sizes glasses. There is nothing around this hotel and so far away from downtown area so next day we ended up eating lunch at hotel. Food was really terrible and not worth the premium price. Even ice bucket is not free. Also heard the noise from big power generator normally at night time and we couldn't really enjoy your time. We stayed there for 3 nights but even check out time no one carried bags for us until receptionist told the bell boy to do so. I can't believe this.

Lovely hotel just next to the beach
Nice and clean hotel just next to the beach. The pool area was amazing with a nice little bar right in the middle. We payed extra for ocean view and it was worth it! We just went out on the balcony and we could enjoy the beautiful view of the ocean. The room was big and so was the bathroom with a bath tub and a very nice shower. The staff was very friendly, their english wasn't great, but you can definitely get the help you need anyway. The hotel was located a little outside the town with all the restaurants and shops so we had to take a taxi to get there. On the other hand the hotel was very quiet at night and the ride was short and cheap. We would love to come back to Vietnam and this hotell!

1st impressions,stunning hotel. Check-In quick. Our room was a deluxe ocean view and we were happy with it. You need tobe on minimum floor 2 to have good views. Rooms very nice but lack drawers,hooks,extra plug sockets etc,simple things! Pool had no shower facility to rinse off before entering,therefore it became murky but a very decent size none the less! Beach not all that, seen nicer. Staff very helpful and friendly but hard to find many staff who spoke or understood english.......quite frustrating! In a nutshell it's trying to be a 5 star but not there yet. It doesn't however deserve the poor ratings that you will find on trip advisor-unfair!!

Overall experience
The overall environment is good, the service attitude of staff is also good. The room hardware needs to be strengthened/renovated. Because the door and windows almost don't have enough spec in anti-noise and the WI-FI is slowly. Whatever, I would like to recommend this resort to you if you don't mind about noise started at 7:30 am.

Henkilökunta ei ollut kovin miellyttäviä. Hotelli oli täynnä venäläisiä all inclusive -asiakkaita, ja jos sinulla ei ollut tätä all inclusive -ranneketta, niin sinua ei meinattu uskoa, että olet hotellin asiakas. Tuntui, kun olisimme jotain alakastia. Saimme esimerkiksi tiedotteen hotellin korjaamisesta, joka oli pelkästään venäjän kielellä. Aamiaisella henkilökunta oli todella tylyä ja ammattitaidotonta. Hotelli oli hienolla paikalla, tosin keskellä ei mitään ja oli pakko olla skootteri, että sieltä pääsee kätevästi kulkemaan. Tosin Mui Nen poliisi on hyvin korruptoitunut ja he jahtaavat turisteja, joten jouduimme maksamaan 1 miljoonan sakot, koska meillä ei ollut kansainvälistä ajokorttia. Aiheesta meitä sakotettiin, mutta poliisin omien sanojen mukaan hän ”myi meille kansainvälisen ajoluvan”. Rahat meni omaan taskuun. Tottakai ymmärsimme tilanteen ja olimme tietoisia, että ”sakko” voi tulla, mutta koimme skootterin kuitenkin niin hyödylliseksi, että olimme valmiit ottamaan riskin. Sitä emme tosin tienneet, että poliisiasema on melkein meidän hotellin vieressä.. Kannattaa siis ottaa tämä huomioon. Pelkällä taksilla ajelu pelkästään tulisi melko hintavaksi, koska hotellilta on melkein pakko poistua melko kauas, jos haluaa syömään jne.

Tå negle i sengen, dårlig service med hensyn til receptionen. Ignorerede bekræftigelse mail fra hotels.com på at jeg havde betalt for alle, så jeg fik en yderligere betaling. Sov i det samme beskidte sengetøj min datter havde spildt i aftenen før. Håndklæderne ved poolen var med så slidte og med store huller. Vi rejste videre før tid.
