Philippeville Hotel Deals
"The hotel wasn't anything like described. The bar, restuarant, garden and terrace were all closed. But there are a couple of local restaurants nearby. The stairs up to our room were very tight. So it would be very difficult to use a large suitcase. Our room was half renovated. The bathroom was quite roomy and looked nice. But the flush on the toilet broke and there was no one to report it to. A small part fell off the shower while I was using it. A hairdryer was provided, but it was fixed so...
Golden Lakes Hotel
Golden Lakes Hotel
"Beautiful place. It is really charming and we can definitely enjoy more than the room. The bed was really confortable and we enjoyed having a lot of space (the room included a little lobby, a bedroom and a big bathroom, so it was easy to put the travel crib a little further so our daughter had her space). The breakfast was perfect. The only negative review I have is that there was a lot of missing toys in the playroom."
La Ferme Château de Laneffe
La Ferme Château de Laneffe"Lovely room in converted buildings. Danielle is a helpful host. When we arrived, our two dogs were not allowed to stay with us in the room or allowed into property. We had communicated they were travelling too but received no message back to say dogs were not permitted. The owner found them a stable to sleep in. Simple breakfast available, overpriced for what it was, but tasty enough. Room was very comfortable with plenty of space. "
"A nice hotel in a very central and convenient location in the town. There was a fridge and kettle, but you had to put it on the floor to plug it in as there was no other socket (needs an extension). There was only one small cup, two glasses but one was dirty, no spoons, and no tea, coffee or sugar etc. Not very welcoming. The luggage rack was broken. Otherwise a nice room and good-sized bathroom."
Vallée les Etoiles
Vallée les Etoiles"Clean well furnished and equipped chalet. Dog friendly at an extra charge. Kitchen well equipped but note that there isn't a conventional oven. Microwave and electric hob. Lovely setting. Bar / bistro. Nearest shop about 4km. We enjoyed our stay. "
