"Overall beautiful room. We had the executive ocean suite and had a beautiful view from our balcony. The lounge area was nice and the restaurant had some delicious food. Staff were also friendly."
"The place is exactly like the pictures. It was beautiful. The host greeted us well when it was check in. Only issue was the shower water was very cold. The water went out when we first check in but the host was able to reach out to the water company. We was able to get back up water but it was cold. "
"The staff were accommodating and kind. The rooms were very clean. The food was ok. No need for all inclusive especially when there are so many restaurants to try off site. The roof top is closed on Monday’s along with Seabreeze which limited your choices for food. The atmosphere was very relaxing. Worth the stay. "
"1st room, 303, air wasn’t working. Read 80 when I arrived and 2 hrs later it was 81. Plus tv wasn’t hooked up to any service so had to again go to front desk to get fire stick. Was moved to 301 which had air and different front desk person installed fire stick. Later after dinner wanted a shower. No hot water! When I went down the next morning I was told repairman was scheduled to come that day. Then found out the issue was known the day, or more, before I checked in. It would have been nice to be told that before taking the room. What a classy business would have done, I’ve had it done before, is make arrangements with another hotel to move to customers. Instead they took my money and didn’t supply normal services, basic hot water. They told me that the hotel was just sold at auction. No doubt it was a bargain needing all sorts of work. The icing on the cake was when I told them I would be leaving after one night of a 3 night reservation because they couldn’t guarantee that the hot water system would be repaired they were kind enough to let me know they wouldn’t charge me for the next two days. Really, they knee there was no hot water and they were kind enough not to charge me, classic. "
"This was one of the most disappointing resort experiences I’ve ever had.
The room was fine and the location is beautiful, but the service completely ruined our stay.
The resort is clearly and consistently understaffed. At many points, there is only one bartender working — not just occasionally, but regularly — and that same person is often also responsible for running food orders. This means they are constantly leaving long lines of guests waiting just to grab food elsewhere. Calling this service is honestly generous.
We repeatedly waited close to 2 hours for meals, and it’s normal to stand in line for 30+ minutes just to get a drink.
Today was the final straw. We lined up before 12:00 to order something quick before heading to the airport at 1:00. By 12:15, they hadn’t even started making a single order. There was no realistic chance of being fed before we left — even for something as simple as a hot dog.
We spoke with a manager (Colin) on day one after waiting 2 hours for food that never came. He promised to follow up the next day and never did.
The staff are clearly overwhelmed — this is a management and staffing failure.
Beautiful location, but completely let down by operations that feel dysfunctional."
