"Nice neighborhood with Sorano close by. No restaurant or bar open. Lack of bedsheets and towels for 3 people. The shower head was too heavy to stay in the shower head holder"

"Beautiful spot in the top of the hill with a fantastic view. You can walk to have an almost 360 degree view of the Tuscany Valley and smell the great collection of roses.
Awesome place organized with very nice selection of furniture and modern amenities.
The place and the service are really lovely. "

"The address of the hotel was wrong on the Hotels.com web site. After an anxious hour or so our host was kind enough to come and get us, we were on foot walking the Via Francigena and the additional 4 miles back would have been a killer. Our host arranged for a cab the next morning so we were back on schedule. Worth the cab expense to keep on schedule. Wonderful evening meal and a great hotel. I would visit it again."

"This was a great place to stay for two nights in late October and to take out and back day trips by train to Siena and Florence on back-to-back days. Very close to the train station - very convenient. Breakfast in the restaurant in the morning was small, but good. Highly recommend this location! It's small, but serviced and supported very well by the staff at the restaurant. "

"We loved everything about this property. The location was so close to everything on a quiet little street. The bed was the most comfortable of all the places we stayed in Italy. Luis went above and beyond to assist with anything we needed. Would 100% stay here again if we visit Orvieto in the future."

"Time transported to the Renaissance at this beautiful, well-kept palazzo… Riccardo’s family did a truly amazing job restoring this place and the facilities are modern & without any discomfort."

"Good communication with management through WhatsApp.
The taxi dropped us off one minute from the property. Very cozy top floor with only a few steps. The 2 bedroom unit is very comfortable, the kids enjoyed sleeping in the loft. Air conditioning worked very well. We had everything we needed, the location is wonderful. We really enjoyed our stay.
Thank you!"

"Lovely restored Tuscan villa and farmhouse. Very comfortable stay. Felt that the people who run it do so with a lot of heart and style. Great value too. "

"Hotel Duomo is perfectly located for exploring Orvieto. The hotel is stylishly decorated and room 204 was very comfortable. The breakfast selection was good and tasty. The sour cherry tart was delicious. All the staff we encountered were very helpful and friendly especially Pietro who helped secure us a taxi after midnight as we missed our train at Rome. Riccardo too was very friendly. Pleased we chose Orvieto and Hotel Duomo."
"Beautiful hotel with relaxing thermal pools. My only hesitation returning is the town is small with only two outside dining options (unless you have a car). And, the hotel has limited room service options. Lunch is served until 2:30pm and dinner starts at 8pm. The GM accommodated our room service needs before 8pm."
"I have nothing but rave reviews for this resort!! I came with my 2 sisters for a special birthday trip and the second we arrived there our jaws were on the ground when we saw how beautiful this place was. Seriously the pictures online don’t do it justice! When we arrived Fiorella greeted us and immediately treated us like family. She made sure every aspect of our stay went smoothly. We felt bad because we were new to Italy and had a million questions everyday but she was truly our little fairy godmother helping us navigate our days! She helped us plan and coordinate our visits in the Tuscan countryside and even booked wine tastings for us since we didn’t know what we were doing. She is fantastic with planning and just being available to help and was just such a joy to talk to!
We didn’t rent a car which in hindsight I almost wish we did because getting around isn’t the easiest since there are not a ton of taxis in the country side but the owner of the resort Guiseppe was so kind and helped get us to our destinations a few times which he did out of the kindness of his heart! The other staff members also called and arranged taxis when available for us! They truly treat you like a part of their family here. We did a wine tasting of their homemade wine and it was all so delicious! We all ended up ordering wine and olive oil to be shipped home so we can enjoy it when we miss Italy! Honestly, every staff member was beyond wonderful and we couldn’t have picked a better place! 10/10!"
Yes, there are holiday rentals close to the most popular sights in Piazze, or you can select a more secluded option if you're looking for a relaxing stay.
What’s there to see and do in Piazze?
While exploring the area, visit family-friendly sights like Pinzi Pinzuti, or get outside and enjoy nature at Piscine Termali Theia. Fonteverde Terme and Terme di Chianciano are a couple of places you'll find in the wider area.
What’s a holiday rental in Piazze like?
Holiday rentals are private properties where you can stay for a few weeks, or just a few days, in Piazze. Holiday rentals feature amenities such as laundry facilities and kitchens so you'll feel just like you're at home. If you're concerned about a sanitised environment, a holiday rental can offer a sense of security away from shared hotel lifts and lobbies bustling with people while still allowing you the excitement and enjoyment of travel. You'll also get more space in a holiday rental than in a standard hotel, which makes a holiday rental an attractive choice for a family getaway.
