Great place for family to explore Tuscany

This is one of the best properties we've stayed during our trip around Italy. We stayed here for 2 nights and used this as the base to explore the Tuscany contryside. Pienza was such a beautiful little town and it's one of the best places to experience an authentic Italian life. My wife and I enjoyed strolling down the little streets in early morning and eveyning and it's so easy to walk all over the town from here. Finding a parking close to the property might be a little tricky sometime, but if you are willing to drive around, you should be able to find a free parking spot in the streets or in the paid parking area in front of the property. The rooms were very nice and clean. Although there was no AC, we didn't find we actually needed one even though we stay here in the hottest days of summer 2019. There electric fans were sufficient to provide some air circulation which we really liked. Breakfast was also excellent. We would love to stay here again given a chance.

Simple, small bed and breakfast. Check in employee was rather rude when we arrived. We struggled with finding parking and she seemed very annoyed when we asked for help. They do have their own restaurant, but with the unfriendliness upon arrival, we didn’t have any desire to go there. Check in girl also held on to our passports (we were there 2 days) and sneered at us when requesting them back. On checkout day, I asked to pay and get passports. I was told it was breakfast time and would need to wait. We had a train to make....just frustrating!

bellissimo ma....

Siamo stati in questo hotel due notti, si trova in pieno centro, veramente fantastico e pulitissimo. Colazione abbondante e buonissima. Personale disponibilissimo. L'unica nota negativa è stata che tra la prima e la seconda notte non ci hanno pulito la stanza e non ho capito se non fosse previsto come servizio o se ne siano proprio dimenticati. Comunque consiglio vivamente di soggiornare in questo hotel ne vale la pena

Great location, great stay

Pienza is a lovely village and Catarina provided us with lovely lodgings. Our room was spacious, quiet and full of character. The b&b is close to the bus, the main street and sights, and good eateries. Breakfast was tasty and varied, and guests can help themselves to tea, coffee and nibbles during the day. Overall, a wonderful experience.
