"We arrived early...and Adam was there to tell us about the place. The village is quaint... easy to get groceries if needed. The room was spacious---and we had the little garden door-- we sat outside each evening....listening to the birds. There is a lot of history in this area. Clean rooms. It was a pleasure to stay."

"We arrived and were greeted with smiles and professional behaviour from the team. We had looked at the menu before our arrival and were happy to eat there. Good decision! The food was excellent, as was the service. Our room was well situated and the breakfast kitchen was well stocked (continental) and accessible to all guests staying over. Our second night proved just as pleasant, with the meal being just as pleasant as the first night. Well done to the team and thanks again for the lovely stay. M&A"

"The Hotel is in a fabulous position on the banks of the Great Ouse. 100 yard walk into St Ives Great little town with bundles of bars and eating houses. We had a great room although 3 coat hangers a bit poor. Next morning no water to flush the toilet or wash hands, not sure why. Great spread for breakfast although a little over cooked and as usual toasters take 15 mins to do a slice of toast. All in all though a great spot brilliant hotel bar with reasonable prices and things to do, I would recommend this hotel for a nice relaxed chilled stay 10/10."

"Decent size rooms. The hotel wasn't busy so quite quiet. Breakfast was very good. The swimming pool and gym appeared to be closed, which was disappointing. Bar Hill is in the outskirts of Cambridge, but not a lot there except a very big Tesco. Parking was charged, which seemed a bit OTT for hotel guests."

"Stewart and Nikki are most welcoming and friendly hosts making us feel at home right away. The apartment was immaculate and comfortable with some lovely touches to put a smile on your face. They provided us with a very nice breakfast too. We would highly recommend using their guesthouse."
