"It’s a really nice apartment. Close to a supermarket and a few blocks away from take away food and bars. A few minutes walk from the new metro station. It’s outside the touristic center of Thessaloniki but only 15-20 minutes walk from the White Tower. The nicest accommodation I have stayed at in Europe. "

"We loved the convenience and proximity to the ocean-front and great restaurants. Coming from a place prior that had a balcony, we missed that part and having our coffees out there, however, it would have been quite noisy since it’s on a main street. With the windows closed, the room was very quiet which was lovely. The room itself was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed and more. We’d recommend to others!"

"Thessaloniki's Modernist is a delightful Parisian-style early 1920's building in a superb location (cross-street "Aristotle Square", 5-10 min walk to waterfront promenade). Breakfast on the penthouse level (7th floor) with lovely staff made our stay quite special. Room was small, but king size bed, everything (incl. a/c) worked perfectly, and we had a small balcony to the street where we could watch the summer evening action on "Aristotle". On noise: absolute quiet with windows closed. Two metro stations (new with archaeological displays) are close by. The hotel's design concept is quite stunning. Staff are warm and very helpful. Map is provided. A unique and awesome place all-round."
