The Hotel on Pownal

"The hotel’s location is fantastic—easily walkable to local dining, shopping, and the waterfront. While the room itself was comfortable and nice, the bathroom was on the smaller side. My main drawback was the sound insulation; the walls and floors are quite thin, so noise travels easily from neighboring rooms as well as above and below. Thankfully, the hotel strictly enforces an 8:00 PM quiet time policy, which made a huge difference and ensured a peaceful night’s sleep despite the thin walls."

"Although this is an older motel, it is well kept. The rooms were spacious and our room had access from the parking lot and the back yard which had seating. The grounds were kept very tidy as well. We enjoyed our 3 nights there"

"The room was exactly like described. Rooms were very clean and spacious, especially for a couple. Breakfast was adequate (hard boiled eggs, bagels, toast, oatmeal). Great proximity to downtown Charlottetown. All staff we met were helpful and kind."
