"The rooms were clean, but the main light was not working, and neither was the AC when we arrived. We called the front desk, and they were able to get the AC working. We had paid in full, but later received an invoice with an additional $30 in taxes and fees, including city, county, and destination fees, which we were not aware of at the time of booking. Overall, it was a good stay. The hotel is clean, and being part of the Skyline complex is a nice feature."

"Affordable option less than a block off Michigan avenue. While it is an older property, the room was very clean, and the staff did an excellent job refreshing the room each morning. Our room was on the inside of the building and we heard NO city noise during the night. Easy access to the train and buses. Very good Thai restaurant right next door, as well as a small diner for breakfast. I would definitely stay here again!"

"The only downsides were that the air conditioning was really loud, as were the trains passing by below ( I recommend bringing ear plugs) and the lobby had a strong air freshener smell. There is no continental breakfast which I was bummed about, because they do serve it to the Homewood Suites in the same building. The pool and hot tub were awesome, the shared patio was awesome, the corner room was beautiful and nice. Not a lot of space but they do a good job making the most of the space. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Valet was awesome - it's nice that it's in a covered garage but it's not cheap! Overall a wonderful stay."
