2/10 Terrible

"Staff was friendly and helpful, but the property is run down and disguesting. The owner needs to step up and do better. We stayed 3 nights and if we had other options, we would have left after the first hour. Our room smelled like a stale fart mixed with mold and ciggarettes. The floor was so dirty, our white socks had black bottoms from walking around the room. My husband had to ram his shoulder into the door to get it to open, and there was a giant gap at the bottom of the door that any bug or small rodent could fit under. The bathroom door scrapped the floor and there wasn't a hair dryer. The ice machine did not work, we had to go to the gas station and purchase bags of ice. This property allowed people to live at the motel, adding to the unpleasent atmosphere. Part of the second floor steps where not accessable because the stairs were missing some steps and looked like it had been like that for awhile. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! This place should be shutdown by the health department. Do yourself a favor and spend a few more bucks to go to a different motel/hotel. I'd poke myself in the eye with a rusty nail before I'd stay here again."

"The room was what you would expect for the price ($54 a night at the time). Definitely could use a handyman on the property that can get things done. My room's entry door had a gap you could see daylight around it top to bottom. The gap at the bottom of the door was so tall a mouse could walk in without crawling. The AC was cold, but the unit was extremely noisy while running. I thought the dang thing was going to explode every time it kicked on or off. If you need a quiet, restful, nights sleep, pay the extra $ and stay in Caryville at the Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn. Between the noisy AC, side-by-side enthusiasts in and out all night, I-75 traffic (less than 100 yards away) that never slows down and the dysfunctional weekly rental crowd that live there and that don't get out of bed until the sun goes down to start their arguing, yelling and door slamming. I got got zero sleep! Other than that it wasn't too bad."

"Very nice stay. Comfortable environment. Safe. Front desk clerk in afternoon is AMAZING! I believe she is the manager? Lady who works the breakfast area is also wonderful. Breakfast had assortment of items. We stayed 2 nights and each AM hot items were different. Rooms comfortable and clean. Quiet. Good night of sleep. Will be back!"
