"One of my favourite hotels I've ever stayed at! Very friendly and helpful staff, beautiful and clean rooms, and great food. If you have coeliac disease, I highly recommend staying here, as they were very aware of safety. Everything was in a separate frier, etc. Every staff member I spoke to was so friendly."

"The room was a little tired and dirty. The bathroom has not been cleaned well. There were hairs in the tub and marks/dirt on the toilet seat and around the sink area. The front desk staff were pleasant enough, though at check in I was told I owed £40 but I’d already paid the full amount. The redeeming part was the breakfast- good food and friendly staff. "

The onsite pub and restaurant had just closed down , which meant a walk alongside the lake which was only a few minutes, to the pub restaurant next to a Premier inn. There was a lot of activity on the lake when we arrived and other activities advertised on site. This was only a stopover for us but was pleasant "
