"On arrival the gentleman at Reception recognised that my partner relied on a stick. He informed his colleague to give us a ground floor room rather than the original first floor. Great attention to detail."

"I did enjoy my stay at Pitlochry Hydro Hotel very much. But it was a little outdated and needed a little refurbishing in places. I noticed the large mirror in the main hall was very smeared and need a good polish. Can I also say some fresh fruit instead of mixed fruit salad for breakfast would have been better, e.g prunes, orange or grapefruit segments, blueberries etc to have on your thick porridge. I also found my door into my room was quite difficult to open with one hand. Because when you arrive or come back in, you are loaded up with things and to open the door I had to put everything on the floor, including my drink if I was holding one, so I could put in the key and turn the door handle, which was quite a nuisance, especially if I had my walking aids with me. Also the weight of the door was very heavy to use. I also used the changing rooms in the swimming pool area which were ok, but the floor into the pool was sometimes very slippery and the mats that were down I found quite sharp on my feet. but the pool itself was lovely and very relaxing. Thank you for giving me a room which was next to the pool so I didn't have to walk far. Also for providing me with a stool in the shower. If I come to Pitlochry again, and I hope to, I would give the Hotel another try. Many thanks, Mary Bacon"

"A warm welcome with a very informative Summary of the hotel, restaurant and amenities. The room was perfect and well furnished. A plus was no noisy fan in the ensuite. The evening meal was very filling as was the breakfast. A great stay in a lovely location."

"Really beautiful and serene hotel experience with rich history. The town is absolutely picturesque and welcoming. The hotel tries its best to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. The garden room was adorable. It is a bit small, but it didn’t make a difference once you enjoy the private terrace. Breakfast was delicious on site, as well as the 3 course dinner you can reserve. Staff were all very sweet and helpful if you needed anything. Very quaint countryside option that is super close to town center with ample onsite parking. The town itself is not accessible friendly per se, so be prepared to walk up stairs and cobble stone streets."
