"The hotel was very nice and clean and very modern feeling. It was a bit far away and remote from the city center of Taichung, so there isn’t a whole lot to do around the hotel. The staff at the hotel were very nice and accommodating in terms of holding our luggage, but unfortunately the night I was there, there wifi didn’t work and the TV also didn’t have any channels working. I did address it with the staff, but unfortunately they were not able to fix it for that day."

"This hotel was nicer than I expected. I needed a hotel close to the HSR station for a night so I could catch an early train the following morning. The room was larger and more comfortable than what I usually get in Taiwan and the staff were helpful getting checked in and out. Do note that it's not really close to the HSR station - you'll still need to take a bus, taxi, or do a fair bit of walking to the local train to get there. But if you need a very reasonably priced hotel on this side of town it's a solid choice."

"Love the hotel. especially the staff. The entrance and lobby are grand, and the front desk staff was so nice; not one, but two staff members came to open doors from our Uber with big, friendly smiles. All the staff are well-trained, very nice, and friendly. The restaurant is a must-go, and guests should definitely opt for the breakfast package. I have never seen so many options for an all-you-can-eat hotel breakfast. It is a full-scale restaurant, not a typical hotel breakfast, and you won't mind spending 2 hours there. The food quality is very good, and the restaurant staff work very hard to keep the tables clean and the food refilled. The hot spring experience is also amazing and very spacious. I personally like Taipei more, but I will go back to Taichung just because of Freshfields. I cannot wait to go back. Oh, I also loved my room, the in-room hot spring bathtubs, which was very spacious. The only thing I wish you could improve is to add a real, full-size computer desk, the bar style desk is too small, as I need a real desk to work. Otherwise, everything was perfect. We will be back soon. Thank you again. We will come back."
