"Cersar Metro Taipei is a fun and family friendly hotel. It was busy when we stayed but it was well organized and stress-free check in. The out-door swimming pool was great. The hotel is a waking distance from the subway. It is close to many tourist spots. There are two night markets nearby. Overall, it is an excellent hotel in Taipei. "

"Even though my room wasn't ready when I checked in, the staffs are all friendly and nice, and the room is clean. The buffet breakfast has a great variety of food and I really like the salad bar and fresh juice corner."

"While I don’t usually pick older properties for my stays, Shangri-La Tainan came highly recommended by friends and families. And it did not disappoint. From confirming the reservation to post-stay experience, I am still in awe that this kind of 5 stars service still exists in the hospitality industry. Booked 3 rooms for 1 night with breakfast, which I wanted connecting rooms. Even though connecting rooms were not available, I was reassured that my rooms will be very close to each other. And yes they were! During my stay, I needed some help with making reservations for dinning, which concierge took care of it immediately. My son left his swim trunks in the room after we checked out, and I was informed quickly. The hotel arranged to ship back the missing item immediately. This kind of service is rare these days! Everyone who goes to Tainan should come experience it.

"4.5-star condition and service, the staffs on the 1st-floor lobby are amazing making sure guests are served for entry and departure, 6th floor is the check-in counter, ok size and can be crowded while ppl are checking-in during the mid-day, front desk crew is very helpful and knowledgable. My guest room was cleaned timely and properly daily, gym is small but not crowded at all. Parking is pretty pricy for $100 NTD/hr for my guest. It is central to several shopping mall and only 3-5 min walk to the Metro (Taipei City Hall). I'm very happy during my 8-day stay, will definitely come back again. The only down-side is they're not part of any hotel chain/membership."
