"The finca was glorious. Well kept and magnificent. The pool was perfect. My room was lovely, but for someone with mobility issues there were two sets of stairs involved. There was both A/c and hot water. Plus a bath with a good shower over the bath. No coffee in the room, just tea. We were able to see the total solar eclipse from the roof terrace. I was very sad to leave."

"Beautiful property, lovely owners, delicious breakfast, central location. If you are looking for a tranquil place to stay, this farm is perfect. We stayed as a family of four, the pool was beautiful though many beaches we went to were only a 30 minute drive. Our only wish is that the room had a bigger fridge, it would have made storing drinks and food for day trips easier. Would recommend to others."

"This property is centrally located making it easy to hit several areas on the island within 30-35 minutes. A rental is highly recommended. It’s secluded and perfect hotel to relax by the pool, have a spa day, walk the vineyards or enjoy a slow dinner. Definitely great for couples or girls trip. The rooms are very spacious and include your own private outdoor area to lounge. Overall it was such a pleasant and relaxing few days."

"We had a wonderful 4 day stay at this hotel. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing, and the staff provided attentive and friendly service throughout our visit. The rooms and grounds were always clean and well maintained. As the weather was so good we didn't get round to using the Spa, we enjoyed playing tennis and taking the bicycles into the nearby town, which was only about a 10-minute ride away. The pool area was excellent—clean, well kept, and supplied with towels for the sun loungers. Snacks and drinks could be ordered and delivered directly to your sunbed, which was a nice touch. We thoroughly enjoyed all of the meals. Breakfast offered a choice between the buffet and from the menu, afternoon snacks were available throughout the day. The hotel is set in beautiful surroundings, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind. We would happily recommend it and would love to return in the future."

"The hotel has gorgeous views and the beds were very comfortable, staff were friendly and rooms were very clean. However the resort itself feels quite tired, the pool area and area around the resort is very rustic and the breakfast is very basic with not much left by 10am. The pool itself is very clean and lovely to swim in. The resort is down a very bumpy, unpaved, single track road and you are charged €3 for a 250ml bottle of water from the mini bar if you need any water. No free water was provided in our room until our last day which in 30+ degree summer heat would’ve been nice. Good for a short stay."

"We had a fantastic few days in Villa Sol y Vida. We did get a little lost winding our way across from the road to the villa however the check in staff were brilliant at explaining our mistake. It would be helpful to explain in a little more detail where breakfast is served. We got the wrong villa the first morning, however after that we got on fine. The staff we encountered where all very friendly and always helpful Pool was great for a dip. Our holiday was in July for reference on pool temperature. Patio area is lovely. Shade if needed. Sun beds plenty and comfortable. Covered parking at our villa, which is very good considering the sun. Despite clearly a number of other couples in the villa based on the cars parked it always felt there was plenty of space and relaxing. I image it would be somewhere is we return to."

"Where to start with this place... Honestly, such a hidden gem, set in a very tranquil countryside farm setting. What they've done with the hotel is amazing, a 400+ year old chapel (finca) which has been tastefully renovated and now serves as a beautiful hotel. The receptionist was amazing, welcomed us warmly it was like visiting a family member that you haven't seen for a long time. She shown us around upon check-in and gave us details of the property's history. Pool area was nice and relaxing, rooms were lovely and characterful and the breakfast was lovely also. would completely recommend to anyone."
