"Where to start with this place... Honestly, such a hidden gem, set in a very tranquil countryside farm setting. "I don’t know if I would stay here again, but I am glad I did. It was confusing from the start. When we arrived, there were two other cars waiting at the gate to enter. Everyone was equally confused about how to get in. The other two cars were wedding vendors. Eventually, the gate opened so one woman could run in, but then it soon shut after, so we continued waiting. Finally we got in. We walked a bit from the parking lot to the reception. The person at the reception was quite young and a bit aloof. She spent some time with the wedding vendors and did not acknowledge us at all. She ended up asking us to wait two minutes while she walked the vendors to some other part of the property. But of course it was longer than two minutes. Luckily, we had been on Mallorca for a few days, so we weren’t jet lagged, but it was a bit annoying, and I can’t imagine coming off a long flight to wait in the car, and then wait in the reception. When she came back, did not apologize for the wait and began checking us in. Even after checking in, she hesitated to ask if we needed help with our luggage. The parking was not too far, but it’s a rocky pebble driveway, which is not ideal for dragging a suitcase. The interaction was odd. She was not rude. It just seemed like her first day. Overall, we had a nice enough stay. The power went out once, but otherwise it’s nice. No complaints about the bed, bathroom, property. It was quirky!"

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Centrally located to get to Palma, beaches and historic sites. The owner was very helpful with best beaches and restaurant choices with Mallorcan foods. Quiet with excellent pool and the breakfast was varied with local meats cheeses, breads, fruits and jams served your table. Would definitely return on our next trip to the island. Definitely allow 2 weeks to properly see the island."

"We spent one night in a family room in this beautiful hotel on the way to the coast. It is a really special place and I would have liked to spend more time there. The room was spacious with a fridge and air con provided, and very large beds. The room was clean and bottled water provided in the fridge. The self service breakfast was excellent, a great choice of options to suit everyone. We loved playing in the pool and hanging out in the hammocks in the evening. 100% recommended if looking for something different and chilled. The garden was really lovely to walk around and very friendly staff. We can't wait to return!"

"The hotel has gorgeous views and the beds were very comfortable, staff were friendly and rooms were very clean. However the resort itself feels quite tired, the pool area and area around the resort is very rustic and the breakfast is very basic with not much left by 10am. The pool itself is very clean and lovely to swim in. The resort is down a very bumpy, unpaved, single track road and you are charged €3 for a 250ml bottle of water from the mini bar if you need any water. No free water was provided in our room until our last day which in 30+ degree summer heat would’ve been nice. Good for a short stay."

"We had a fantastic few days in Villa Sol y Vida. We did get a little lost winding our way across from the road to the villa however the check in staff were brilliant at explaining our mistake. It would be helpful to explain in a little more detail where breakfast is served. We got the wrong villa the first morning, however after that we got on fine. The staff we encountered where all very friendly and always helpful Pool was great for a dip. Our holiday was in July for reference on pool temperature. Patio area is lovely. Shade if needed. Sun beds plenty and comfortable. Covered parking at our villa, which is very good considering the sun. Despite clearly a number of other couples in the villa based on the cars parked it always felt there was plenty of space and relaxing. I image it would be somewhere is we return to."
