"Stay here if you want to constantly hear the hallway doors slam shut on repeat as if that were their sole purpose. Or if you want to hear your room’s heater or water pipe clank on repeat as if someone is standing right there in your room hitting it with a wrench. Or if you want your room’s safe not bolted to anything, making it available to be carried out of the room by hand. Or a shower that actually has some good water pressure, yet pressure so strong through a shower head that only has one setting (fine) making the water streams feel like needles on your skin. On a positive note, there was some confusion and difficulty during my check-in process. When I expressed that the situation was making me not feel very secure and uneasy about my stay, the employee at the front desk did a good job at rectifying the situation and compensating for it. I appreciated his efforts."

"The location of the hotel was prime, within walking distance to Broadway theaters, Times Square, subway entrances, and so much more! The hotel itself is so much fun, with quirky, elegant decor in the lobby and rooms with all the basics you might need. Our room was small, but to be expected, as it was NYC, after all! The beds were comfortable, the bathroom and room were clean, and the air conditioning was nice and cold. The front desk ladies were very helpful in checking us in and offering suggestions of eateries and subway assistance. The ability to store your luggage so you can spend more time exploring before or after checkout was so nice, and then the offer of them obtaining a taxi for us to the airport was the cherry on the top. If we're ever able to return to NYC, this will be our home base, for sure!"

"Room was outdated, chipping paint, lifting wallpaper, dusty vents. Chargers on lamps didn't work well. Couch was not appealing looking to want to sit on. Lobby at one point at a class group that was so large that it was impossible to get on the elevator to get back to our room for a second, it would have taken much longer to wait and wasn't worth it. Felt like I shouldn't have to wait on line for 30 minutes just to get back to my room. "

"Dino was great! So was the female cashier thats always working the 2nd register long ponytail I forgot her name. Great service across the board. Elevator staff was always helpful nice and friendly."

"Its a great fun hotel, perfect for kids because of the location and atmosphere. Rooms are small but its NY, incredible views."

"Maria was exception. She listened to my concerns and assured me that my room would be set when I got back. I heard her explain it to the manager. My room was not ready when I arrived at 6:30 and she told the manager that I would just drop my bags and come back later. When I came back the manager was rude sucking her teeth responding to another guest rudely. She nastily informed me that at 10pm my room was still not available. I was quite surprised since I was promised that it would be. The manager explained that she was going to put us in a queen bedroom (which we reserved a king). At 10pm I was not going to argue since we just wanted to get some sleep after a long day. She repeated many times that it is considered an upgrade. I just wanted what we reserved nothing more. I saw Maria again at check out and she apologized for the management and assured me that this is not the norm. Everyone else we came in contact with with the exception of the manager at the desk was very nice and professional."
