Title: Disappointing Experience at Xcaret Arte for a Special Occasion Two years ago, my experience at Xcaret Arte was stellar, prompting me to choose this location once again for another milestone - my 40th birthday. Unfortunately, this visit has not lived up to the previous standard, leading me to reconsider my recommendation of this hotel. Despite booking five rooms directly through the hotel based on the promise of enhanced service, our experience has been anything but satisfactory. A primary issue has been the unavailability of the Michelin star restaurants. Despite assurances that the booking of these highly sought-after dining experiences would be managed on our behalf, upon arrival, we found them completely booked. This oversight has significantly impacted our celebration, as no accommodations could be made for our large party. The difference between our current experience and the one from two years ago is night and day. Previously, every detail was handled with care, ensuring a memorable celebration. This time, the lack of attention to our specific needs and the failure to secure important aspects of our trip has left us deeply disappointed. For those considering Xcaret Arte for a special occasion or group event, I would advise caution. The inconsistency in service and failure to deliver on promises may mar your experience as it did ours. Unfortunately, based on this visit, I cannot recommend Xcaret Arte at this time.

Where do I begin with? First of all. The pool and beach hours they closed everything at 1900 or earlier. So when you finished visiting the parks and do other stuff the pool is closed. I don’t even got to enjoy the pool and the beach much. Unlike other hotels. I think they keep everything open until 2100 or something like that. This hotel is expensive and the food are cheap. No high quality food. The taste is so disappointed some of the restaurants are only open to “VIP” guests. And if you want to eat there. You have to pay!!!! What happened to all inclusive hotels!!! I already paid a lot !!!! Just don’t go. If you want to visit the parks just buy the passes. Stay somewhere else.

This was an amazing experience. The service was impeccable from the very beginning and every member of the staff was friendly, warm and eager to help. The property is gorgeous regardless of which house you stay in- our view was Oceanfront and it truly lives up to its description. The food was delicious and some of our favorite meals were at Tah-Xido( we went twice) and Encanta- but we were so happy to have the Mercado available all day and used it often for breakfast/ snacks and ice cream runs. The parks and shuttles were super convenient and it was very easy to plan a day out. One of our favorite things was that we constantly found new and fun surprises to explore like the daily night time shows at the forum, the library in casa Paz, the gorgeous spa and so on. We were very sad to leave and will definitely be coming back.

Dishonest, upon check in our representative was aware that the room we paid for was not available and try to sell us that the upgrade was a better option, however we selected our room due to its particular accommodations. Overall the hotel is beautiful, incredible food and friendly staff.

The variety of adventure parks included was amazing. Also the option to swim in a pool, lagoon, or ocean was really neat. Having a lounge to wait at outside of the airport to be picked up was a great touch too. One drawback is the amount of reservations needed for certain restaurants so far in advanced without knowing much of the menus and that alcohol at some restaurants for dinner is not included in the "all inclusive" part of your stay. Otherwise, this was easily the best resort we've stayed at this far.

It was a good experience, but we had one reservation for a sailing activity and due to weather conditions it got canceled. Nobody informed us, we spend hours organizing for the activity and then waiting like fools for the transportation and nobody took the care to inform us. It was us a guest looking for answers that we find out. Poor organization and all we got was a sorry. We lost one whole afternoon because of this.
