"Booked and paid for an ocean view room with a balcony but only garden view rooms were available so instead of the waves crashing I heard the property next door doing Los construction all day long …. Other than that the place was great "
"The property is well located next to all the tour boats, restaurants, nightclubs, and so on. However, being in the center of town also comes with all the associated drawbacks: noise, traffic, congestion, poor upkeep, etc."
"Personal and frniendly approch from host Natalie who was very kind and helpful. Delicious and freshlyprepared food. Quiet and beautiful hotel surroundings."

"This is an adorable place on the water! It is walkable to anywhere on Carenero Island! And just a quick water taxi to Bocas town! Cosmic Crab has a beautiful swim up pool over looking the water, jungle and water front cabanas! Very clean, two restaurant s on the site. The coconut shrimp is the best! If you have a boat, you can easily dock alongside the waterfront cabanas. The day I was there they had tropical live music by the pool (Atlantis) . A beautiful little landscape place to hang out either by yourself or with friends. A little tip: If you’re walking around Isla Carenero, you may want to bring sunscreen and bug soray for no see ums. You can add Cosmic Crab to your unique stay in when visiting Bocas del Toro. "
"I had the most amazing experience at Nowhere. It really feels like you leave the rest of the world behind when you step into Bocas... Nowhere takes you further. You wake with the sun (be sure to pack an eye mask if you like to sleep in).
I went during rainy season and watching the rain thru the overhead window or side window was magical. It's quiet and secluded, but the staff aren't far away. They will even help you spot monkeys and sloths for those photo opps.
Barefoot luxury is how i would describe. The beach and restaurants are across the road. Bocas Town is a 45 min walk or quick taxi away (taxis ride up and down the road all day/ evening).
True tea... there's no TV or AC or other creature comforts, but that's kind of the point. You really don't miss them. And as far as AC goes, they provide an oscillating fan. I actually kept it off most of the time bc it was well ventilated with the windows.
Keep an open mind and have a blast!!"
"This was a great place for winding down for a couple of nights at the end of our 10-day Panama trip. We were impressed with the attentive staff who worked so hard to make things easy and comfortable. And the food at the restaurant was delicious! We thoroughly enjoyed the the open air dining room as well as the full beachfront service for lunch and drinks. The water in the area is much too rough for swimming, but we took long walks on the immaculate and isolated Bluff Beach, and when we felt like a dip, we swam in the pool. Our room with a king bed and jungle view was simple, very clean, and carefully appointed with a comfortable bed and luxury linens. They even supplied yoga mats in our room. There are board games, a ping pong table, and a billiards table for entertainment. We also appreciated the eco-friendly efforts, such as the use of solar panels and a refillable water bottle service. We would have signed up for their jungle hike tour but the guide was not available on the particular days that we were staying. We instead relaxed on the beach, being mesmerized by the crashing waves. Thank you to the staff and management who helped make our Panama vacation so memorable!"
"We enjoyed our stay, from the first second to the last moment, all the staff was very kind and attentive, we also booked a very nice tour with them and would like to come back soon!!"
"We went here for peace, the jungle, birds, the ocean. Oh MAN did it deliver. Lovely high perched cabins right in the trees. The cabins are basically brand new, the lovely smell of wood still lingers. Sealed tight as a drum, you can lie in bed and be a part of the jungle with the screened windows wide open, a part of nature. I’ve never been woken by howler monkeys at 6am and it’s an experience I will never forget. The beach is right down the road. David is so helpful and friendly. He even made a grocery run for us so we could luxuriate over breakfasts after morning birding! Cabs are available at a phone call or just going up and down the road. The rough roads lead to even more amazing jungle or small beach community experiences. Chocolate farms, ex-Pat bars, superb restaurants, starfish loaded beaches, tropical birds beyond your wildest dreams. The warmest, kindest locals. I didn’t want to leave this enchanted world. "
"Stayed in the one of the semi-detached bungalows. Very comfortable with an amazing view. Pool was lovely. Loads of Hummingbirds around so it warrants the name! The food in the restaurant was ok but not very memorable but there are 2 alternative options within walking distance - we only tried one which was much better. There's just one option for breakfast which did change every day. As there are no windows you and your neighbours can hear everything. Unfortunately we had a very loud couple next to us who kept on talking loudly every day and also till very late in the night. In the end we had to tell them to be quiet which worked only up to a certain level. "
"It's hard to share how wonderful this place really is to experience. Single guy traveling in wet season. This place is amazing. The people who run the place care, love the area and place and everything was more than I could imagine. It's not a hotel high rise, big city, AC hotel, a million TV channels, don't seek that here. Wifi is perfect though as needed. It's the most amazing experience waking up and living with the sounds of waves, birds, rain showers and amazing food. Don't miss the breakfast. Every place offers breakfast but in over a decade even with family I've never had a better more home cooked breakfast every morning. Those sweet ladies made my mornings and I am grateful for the care and kindness the island, resort and people brand to my trip. Highly recommended. Also want to share a family of 5 was also there in wet season with me and totally delightful with kids. A great place for all!"
