What a wonderful stay! The owners are so hospitable and kind and truly made our stay very enjoyable. We stayed one night and did the Plitvice Park. We dined at Tesla for supper and the food was phenomenal! Don’t miss the dinner and the very generous breakfast in the morning (lots of variety and very tasty). We highly recommend and hope we have the opportunity to return some day.

A hidden gem
Not a single thing negative to say about this place. A paradise away from the business of a holiday. The service was fantastic, the couple that run this place are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The dinner & breakfast was one of the better meals we had, and it's always lovely to have a home cooked meal whilst away. I wouldn't hesitate to come back to this place and recommend it to anyone thinking about spending some time near the national park. I look forward to returning next time.

What a great find! Duch a cute place and the hosts Visnja and Davorin were extremely nice and hospitable. Visnja home cooked dinner and breakfast and it was delicious. The room was comfortable and nice and setting and views were very pretty. Great location to the National Park

Lovely deluxe B&B with a wonderful hostess . Offering fabulous dinner on location which is a great perk at the end of a long walking day in the park. Outdoor terrasse and nice common living room in case of rain. 10 min from Plitvice park entrance. Highly recommended.

Visnja was an amazing host and went above and beyond for us. Expedia should note that this is a B&B with specific meal times. The food Visnja prepared was wonderful. It’s very close to the national park and in a beautiful location.

A true home from home
We stayed 2 nights here & we had a truly wonderful, relaxing time. The area is extremely peaceful and the owners go out of their way to assist in any way they can. The food is also excellent, if you get the chance to book, do so, you will not be disappointed.

Perfect stay
Our stay was fantastic! The house and rooms are beautiful and our hosts were incredible. I highly recommend taking your meals here - some of the best food we had our entire trip. Ww would definitely come back!

The owner makes your stay very memorable!
Very nice guest house. The meals that the owner prepares are delicious so don't miss out eating here too! We will hopefully visit again and would not think of staying anywhere else!!!

Thank you!
We were greeted with a warm welcome when we arrived even though it was later than expected. We enjoyed our freshly made breakfast which felt more personal, if only we had the chance to have dinner! We would stay here again and highly recommend. The hotel is very close to the entrance of the park and to find the road keep your eyes open as it is a small road off the main highway.

Lovely stay at Tesla's
Cannot say enough good things about our stay at Tesla's. Allow yourself a few hours to take in the beautiful, peaceful setting. The proprieters are a lovely couple, who were so accommodating. You must enjoy their fantastic breakfast and the dinners were delicious and over the top. Before dinner there was a lovely quaint sitting area to enjoy a cocktail before dinner and meet other guests.

We liked everything about this property. Beautiful suite, well stocked bathroom. The entire common area is beautifully decorated and comfortable. The opportunity to dine for a full breakfast and dinner was amazing. Don’t miss this gem that is about 10 minutes from Plitvice Lakes. ❤️

Five star highly recommend, incredible food
Of all of the places we stayed in our two week trip throughout Croatia, this place was by far the most special. The landscape/scenery is surreal and peaceful. You can barely hear any cars or noises other than the wind coming off the mountains and beautiful nature. Humming birds fly around bushes of flowers and fruit gardens. Rocking chairs and hammocks are scattered throughout the yard for r&r and reading a good book. The meals are five star, four course, and home made with fresh local ingredients. All for very reasonable and low costs. The owners made the stay extra special. Lovely family operated by mother and father. Also, all of the people staying there are interesting, fun, and respectful. Couldn’t recommend this place any higher! An absolute gem.

This was such a gem of a find during our trip to Croatia. It's a perfect distance from the Plitvice Lakes National Park and we were so happy to unwind here after a day spent hiking the park. We had made dinner reservations at a local restaurant, but as soon as we saw the set up for dinner at the house, we asked if we could have dinner there and, fortunately, they were able to accommodate us. I highly recommend ordering your dinner there for the view and ambiance. A heads up I would give is that they prefer to be paid in cash for any of the food and drinks (Kn or EUR) and you can pay in credit for the room if required so it's best to plan accordingly. Thanks for such a great stay!!

The food was exceptional at Tesla’s. Do eat here if you can. Proximity to the Pltivice Park is great and the grounds are very nice as are the rooms.

This place was a wonderful surprise. We were just looking for a crashpad to tour Plitvice Lakes but the place, especially the owner/hostess, was amazing. The tranquil setting is instantly relaxing. You feel connected to nature in the beautiful outdoor setting. Then you get doted on by the owner and enjoy her fabulous cooking. The place is a destination in itself--but if you are touring Plitvice Lakes this is definitely THE place to stay. Make sure you get there in time for dinner!

Nice Stop
The owners are very nice and the view just sitting in the lounge chairs in the back is wonderful. The room was the smallest we had on our trip but the bathroom was large and the room was very clean. We had dinner and breakfast there and it was just ok. We got to meet other travelers which was a lot of fun.

What a wonderful stay! We spent 10 days in Croatia visiting Zagreb, Zadar, Split, and Dubrovnik, only to finish our itinerary at gorgeous Plitvice National Park. All the nice hotels and resorts on the coast were second to the service, hospitality, and warmth offered by Višnja, owner and host at Tesla’s Gastrohouse. The location of the accommodation is beautiful, a peaceful and lush green retreat overlooking the mountains. From the moment we got out of the car, we were welcomed and helped to our room. Višnja kindly offered us a welcome drink and took genuine interest in hearing about where we had traveled. We had a delightful time: awesome food, quiet and extremely clean rooms, a beautiful location, and first-class service. A huge plus is that Plitvice National Park is only 10 minutes away! All in all, I cannot recommend this place enough. Each detail is taken care of, from the room decorations, to the common area layout, from the comfortable chair setup on the garden to a hearty breakfast. Thank you Višnja, we can’t wait to return!

I really cannot say enough great things about this place. From the moment we pulled up we were treated like family. The couple running this place are absolutely sweet and amazing - they go above and beyond in all respects. Visnja is a fantastic chef and makes sure that you are never hungry. From pate to fresh fish, all of the food was excellent. Davor was so helpful and friendly - he even fixed my suitcase after the airline broke it. The rooms are modern and sparkling clean. The house is 7 minutes from the waterfalls that are absolutely stunning. Go here, you won't regret it.

Perfect Stay
This guest house is simply perfect for any length of stay in Plitvice. The facilities are 100% immaculate, the environs are perfectly serene, and the owner is lovely. You couldn't meet a more friendly person to ensure your visit is wonderful. I definitely suggest a few glasses of wine, and their delightful fish dinner. I would love to visit again.

Fantastic service and food conveniently located
This guesthouse was the unexpected highlight of my trip. The building is new so is in excellent condition, spotlessly clean and set in a beautiful and peaceful location only 10 minutes drive from entrance 2 of Plitvice National Park. The highlight of any stay here is the food and fantastic welcome from the hostess. The home cooked meals are absolutely delicious and the menu changes every day with a great choice of options. The portions are generous and the quality of the produce is first rate. There is a very well stocked bar too, with some fantastic Croatian wines.

Best days ever!
Very cozy place - quiet and amazing view - with super friendly hosts who made lunch for us when we arrived though we just booked the room one day in advance. The food was delicious - 4 courses were served at dinner and they even made a vegetarian menu. The tangerine marmalade at breakfast was outstanding!! Also a great location and nice beds.

We were scheduled for a 2 night stay in Plitvice which was cancelled by another property due to construction difficulties, and we scrambled to find a place, and were extremely lucky to find availability at Tesla's Gastro House! We were greeted by the owner, Davorin and shown to our beautiful rooms - the best rooms we had in our 3 week stay in Europe! the grounds are beautiful and the dinner's prepared by Davorin and his wife, Vesjna were delicious and they treated us like long lost friends. We loved our stay and we would go back again, and again!

Our stay here was absolutely wonderful. Upon arrival after a long day of travel and hiking, Visjna and Davorian, the lovely owners, welcomed us and immediately made us feel right at home. The property is modern but cozy, have beautifully designed, clean rooms, and a relaxing outdoor space. Bathrooms were A . The absolute highlight was Visjna’s home cooked meals- you will not regret it!

Lovely new guesthouse
An amazing little guesthouse about 10-15 minutes drive from the entrance to the lakes. The building is new, apparently only opened this season, and the hospitality and food is incredible. Višnja was such a lovely host and took care of our every need, and we wound up eating dinner there 3 nights in a row because it was far too good to go anywhere else. Highly recommended

This was a really fantastic hotel. All new construction - everything is brand new, well built, and really charming. The room was spacious, with enough room for a family with small kids. We had everything we needed - small kitchen, table, living space, plus room for suitcases and a crib. The food was really fantastic - and thankfully they were willing to make some accommodations for small kids who are picky eaters. The staff were very helpful and not only went out of their way to be friendly to our kids, but gave us lots of good tips on where to go. It’s a short drive (5-10min) from the 1st and 2nd entrances to the park, which is great for getting in ahead of the crows. Fully recommend.
