"Hotel has pleasant clean smell through out & is well kept although dated and a lot of wear and tear evident. Room - curtains, bedding, towels- clean. Air conditioning worked really well and was easily controlled. We took advantage of the swimming pool (very clean) and small gym. There were no towels at the pool and it is a very small gym with some machines broken- but for the price, who can complain! Wish the bar/restaurant was open but considering that hotel was almost vacant- understandable. It is in a great location - close to everything (shopping centers, Walmart, pocono mountains, restaurants, all nearby). There is a Dunkin Donuts on the same lot which saved the morning! Wish continental breakfast or at least coffee was available at the lobby. Rooms do have a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, iron & ironing board. Toiletries are scentless so bring your own. Would stay there again. I enjoyed the stay."

"The swift water is a top notch place. Rooms are gorgeous. Stayed in a club level room and access to the club with a lifesaver. Beautiful breakfast every morning hors d’oeuvres twice a day, including sushi, alcohol unlimited soda, beer, wine, water juice you name it they had it snacks galore well worth it. Excellent air conditioning beautiful TV view the pool outstanding lounge, chairs waitress service. It’s like being on a cruise with all the amenities, which is rare in the Poconos ate at the restaurant on site the Olivet and it was impeccable. Service was flawless. I can’t say enough about this property. It was well worth it beautiful relaxing, classy clean. I’ll be back."

"What a lovely place. Centered on the Main Street of town and easily walked to all major attractions, except Jim Thorpe Burial site. The hotel was well updated with all conveniences you would expect in a modern hotel. We had a front room overlooking the street. The only negative was there is a balcony across the front of the hotel and people sat right in front of our windows and you could hear them talking. But it would go quiet by 10 o’clock at night. And we did spend a few hours out there enjoying the activities. We didn’t mind the activities out there at all and met several interesting people. The hotel restaurant was perhaps the best restaurant in town and was reasonably priced. Service was outstanding and friendly. We would stay here again if we decide to come back in the future."
