"This approaches a contactless, minimalist hotel. Check-in is through an ATM-like computer interface. I had my reservation details, emails, and codes and checked in quickly and without incident. However, two other parties were left outside for 15+ minutes, calling on multiple cell phones, yelling in German. The room was clean and efficient, but had minimal comfort items. "Für Familien mit Kleinkinder aus der Stadt vielleicht okay, aber für den Rest eher nicht. Bevor man eincheckt muss man Schuhe ausziehen, und beim Frühstück sind für die Inhaber ein Tisch gesperrt. Nicht dass es an Platz mangel, sondern da wird das Hausrecht gezeigt. "

"An excellent family-run hotel on the banks of the Dnube. Very good breakfast. Nice restaurant. We upgraded to a large room with a balcony and a full view of the Danube for only 15€ per night."

"If you want a nice, peaceful, away from everything kind of place, then this is your stop. Up on top of the mountains, you have a fantastic view all around you. It is very quiet and you can sleep peacefully. The rooms are quite basic, no fridge, soap stuffs, but it is still a great lodge. The owners are very nice and amazing folks who will do what they can to make your stay pleasant. This was definitely a relaxing stay for me."

Recommended!

"Our group only had 1 night here. The stay was pretty comfortable, although it was quite difficult sharing 1 bathroom amongst 5 adults, but we managed. Space was sufficient for us and overall stay was comfortable. Only thing was that floor of the room was like stone/concrete, which didn’t seem comfortable to walk around barefooted. Thankfully we had slippers. There is no free parking onsite, but there is street side parking."

"The hotel has charm and is located quite near the historic old town center and within walking distance to the museums; the staff is friendly and helpful; the breakfast buffet is very nice with a wide selection of foods, very authentic Austrian ambiance to the breakfast and the hotel. The short comings are that there is no kettle or fridge with no food services at the hotel except for the breakfast buffet. The nearby restaurants are expensive though there are a few supermarkets within walking distance."

"We had a wonderful stay in this lovely inn. Our room was spacious and comfortable. I could have stayed in all day to enjoy the view of the Danube. Dinner on the terrace was excellent and featured fresh and seasonal dishes. The breakfast buffet offered excellent variety and quality too. "
