Try beginning your route once you are in the historic part of Pompeii. The route from there is quite simple. "

And it is perfect for doing this,we didn't want the hassle of moving around.. Trains are easy to use and nearby taking you to Sorrento,Naples and Herculaneum. "Fabulous hotel. Staff all spoke excellent English and were incredibly helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean, large, and well kept. Wonderful views of the city/Vesuvius, and the outdoors patio was lovely. Super convenient location close to the Circumvesuviana metro line, and easy walking distance to the Pompeii ruins, many restaurants (Na Pasta was our favorite!), and gelateria. Favorite part of our trip was the time in Pompeii. You won't go wrong staying here!"

"The location across from the ruins was perfect. It was within walking distance to everything. Ruins, restaurants and train stations. They have a place to store your bags if you arrive before the check in time. They also had a very good breakfast included with the room. "
