"Parking was nice and it is close to a lot of good stuff. However, the rooms are shameful. Outdated furniture, paint chips in seemingly every surface, showerhead was calcified. All around very unsavory appearance from everywhere but the road."

"There were two bartenders upon check in and maybe 10 people at the bar. I was not acknowledged for at least 3 minutes. The person sitting next to me ordered a pizza with mushrooms and they brought a pizza with sausage. Not one bottled water in the room. No shades in the room. The best part of the hotel was the valet, which coincidentally was the only survey I received via text and I gave them a 10. Awful stay!!"

"There was no Soap for the shower First thing I requested to refill the container or give a bar of soap. By checkout still no soap for shower. Expedia said I get two free waters. Apparently it is keeping the soap friendly someplace. Best of all on checking in (and buying a non refundable ticket) for shuttle service and old town trolley I wa assured my small dog could come. The shuttle driver refused let us go because not a SERVICE dog. Dog friendly hotel didn ’t seem to know that. BTW news to me because I have taken dogs before. "

"The rooms were really spacious and nicely decorated. The parking attendants were super friendly and helped the guest find cool places to check out in St. Augustine. The property was well maintained. The bridge to the downtown area was closed, so it was a little longer walk than we planned for. My only complaint was the lack of waffles in the breakfast area and the breads were not well stocked. I ended up with oatmeal, which could have used some brown sugar and/or nuts. The breakfast area was clean and offered a great view of the river. If your room sits on the river side, you should be able to see the historical area. Otherwise, you have a view of the parking lot and a road. The rooms were quiet."
