Thank you Hotel Harris for your hospitality. All of the staff members that we interacted with were friendly, professional, and have the best customer service skills. We loved the long pillows called guling. The room set up is simple, but it is cozy and clean. We will definitely stay at Harris Hotel again whenever Pontianak is calling.

Upon my arrival at the hotel, I was immediately struck by a strong, unpleasant odor in the surrounding area, reminiscent of a toilet. When I approached the front desk to inquire about the possibility of an early check-in, the receptionist was unhelpful and responded in a rude manner. Despite specifically requesting a non-smoking room, the room I was given had an overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke. When I contacted the front desk to report the issue, I was informed that it was a non-smoking floor. However, the odor was so intense that I found it difficult to breathe. Eventually, a staff member was sent to inspect the room and brought an air purifying device. I was asked to wait outside while the issue was addressed. Upon returning, the smoke odor had diminished slightly, but was replaced by an overpowering chemical smell, which made it impossible for me to sleep that night. It was, without a doubt, the worst hotel stay I have ever experienced. I was visiting Pontianak on a business trip, and will certainly never return to this hotel ever again.

Nice for reasonable price

the hotel is quite new. The facilities are well maintained, room are clean and staff are friendly. at the ground floor there is a fresh market with lots of choices. Once I am back in town I love to stay here again.
