"Lovely stay - the views made it so book a room with a view if you can! Staff were excellent, food was also very good. Breakfast in particular was lovely and high quality."

"Absolutely fine, was welcomed by a thoroughly nice chap who checked us in etc. Room was up in the rafters but was nice, comfortable bed and a magnificent bathtub. Spent an hour in the bar and enjoyed that, drinks were reasonable price and it seemed to be quite full. Had to leave at 06:00 to catch ferry so didn’t eat breakfast. Only negative was the toilet seat was quite loose and I felt a little uneasy sitting on the pan, expecting it to slip off at any second. Absolute not a show-stopper but needs sorting as it could be dangerous (didn’t report it as reception was unmanned when we left at 06:00). "

"My 4th stay at the Shah. The staff are as good as you can get (Thank you).I stayed 3 nights.The 1st 2 nights in room 6... nice double room.Amazing powerful shower and a huge bed. The 3rd night I was in room 9~a single room.I think it was near or over the kitchen,there was some sort motor running all night.maybe the fridge or freezer..it was load enough to keep me awake. The food was very good pub grub and large portions. "

"So glad we booked this place rather than a large hotel in the area that we were considering. The room was gorgeous with a big bath tub (we chose one of the big rooms). Check in was easy, staff were v friendly and accommodating despite looking after the restaurant too (special mention to Ashmi who waited on us a couple of times in the restaurant). Food is fab, especially the Sunday roast. We managed to get parking on each of the 3 days/nights we were there. The only thing to note is that the cleaners only do a “quick once over” in your rooms every morning. Fab stay and will definitely stay again and recommend. Location is perfect. We walked from there to Old Harry’s Rocks. Visited Worbarrow Bay, Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door and a vineyard all within a short driving distance. Enjoy! "

"Very nice and well appointed little hotel. Didn’t have breakfast as the timing didn’t work for me but it’s 7:30-9:30 weekdays and 8:00-10:00 at weekends. Comfy beds, good shower. Friendly reception. "

"Had a lovely pleasant stay. Had a very welcoming experience from the owner who seemed genuinely pleased to see us. Gave us all the information we needed and showed us to our room. The room was immaculately clean and very spacious, as was the en-suite. Breakfast was an abundance of fresh yoghurt, pastries, cheeses and cereals. Hot tea and coffee with crumpets, toast etc. would definitely recommend and we will stay again. "

"I believe this is the finest B & B I’ve ever stayed in . For context that is a long list , I usually stay away at least once a week, most weeks. The room was perfect in all aspects , very high standard of decor , extremely comfortable bed , bathroom modern and well appointed . Reception lounge was well appointed with fresh milk in communal fridge, water cooler . Breakfast was of high standard , freshly made , quality produce used. A lot of quality touches throughout the room . 10/10"
