"The rooms were great, and workout area was clean and tidy. Not at all disappointed in the property as a whole, yet the water dispenser in the gym area did not work and though we had breakfast amenities that were included in the room rate we were unable to partake due to there not being food out and available. On both days that we stayed at the property there was no coffee and the hotel was understaffed as the front desk worker had to come over to the breakfast area and assist with basic cleaning."

"Vegan+gluten-free options for breakfast were fruit juice, an apple, and raisins I filched out of the toppings for yogurt. But I did not expect more. More importantly, the coffee was delicious and plentiful. Good thing I brought my own Stevia sweetener. We selected this hotel almost randomly as we had never been to Fort Worth before. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice it was and will stay here again if we return. A problem-free stay in every way."

"Good location for what we wanted to see and do. Seems like the room should have had more plugs to charge phone, iPads etc. If you didn’t have a plug for your cord you could not charge your equipment. Only one usb outlet on the clock. No other usb outlets to directly plug into. Seems a small thing. We survived. Just a little inconvenient."

"The front desk woman was nice and answered all my questions about places to get dinner. The area is extremely busy, and getting into the parking lot is tough because if you miss the turn you have to go around the block. There is no second driveway. There are lots of places to eat and the pool looked nice but weather was rainy. The only issue is the door by the pool is supposed to be secured, and it was propped open and actually didn't close tightly behind you. It would allow someone to enter who doesn't belong there unnoticed. That could be a safety concern."

"Our stay was OK. The breakfast was outstanding. Our first impression was the google maps led us to an entrance that was locked. The Tru was connected to a sister hotel - 2 hotels with one reception desk. While at the desk another client came up and said they were not staying - though they had been moved to another room. Not happy. We were given our room. It had a bad smell (vomit? that had not been fully cleaned?) The manager said he could not notice it he moved us to another room - the one the clietn downstairs had turned down. :-( Apparently the TRU brand is rather basic. It looks like it is HIlton's response to the A Loft brand - rather spartan, nice but basic accommodations. Again, it was OK but I would likely stay somewhere else next time."

"The rooms had a hole in the wall. The curtain was ripped. The elevator made a popping sound, and it was really rough ride. The floors were popping out the comforter was ripped. I waited about 20 minutes or so to get checked in again to get checked out."
