I made a terrible mistake booking this so called "4 Star" hotel. It does not even deserve 1 star. It says on their web they have a restaurant (Tonnini Enoteca Wine Bar) located in the basement serving international cuisine, local dishes for lunch and dinner, plus a daily buffet breakfast. All lies. Wrrive arrived one night and took the elevator to the basement to find a building site. No information advising on restaurant being closed. Nobody to ask either, we left every morning after 10am except a couple of days we went early and we never saw anybody in reception, only Saturday and Sunday. Nobody there at nights when we came back betweek 9.30 and 10pm. Reception is supposed to be open 10am-10pm. More lies. Couple of bars around so we went there. We were 2 people in the room and only 1 bath towel was left (no basin towels, just 1 bath towel and a floor towel). Since we could not find anybody in reception we could not ask for one or even leave a note as there was no paper or biro in the room and I honestly did not bring any with me. We had to buy a towel, then. Daily housekeeping? Expect none. Our first day, the bed had not been done. The rest of the days we left the sign in the door requesting for the room to be done. Only the bed was made (pillows thrown, nothing straightened, duvets folded on top, that was all). No hoovering, or dusting, no bathroom done at all. Not a single day. Only toiletry: watered down soap, I had brought my own shampoo. No 4 star standard

The beds were very comfortable. The space was very large and accommodated 5 easy. Very clean and breakfast was great (although I’m certain I prepaid and they said I did not). My only issue was they didn’t seem too happy we were staying there. Maybe they don’t like Americans. Idk but we were quiet and polite, yet I felt like we were criminals.

We stayed at the hotel for 2-nights during the weekend. I want to commend the helpful stuff at the entrance, who are always available and very helpful. The hotel is located in an excellent place, right beside the river and the old town. Very clean, the atmosphere is relaxing. We have several comments that can be improved: 1. We had a clogged sink in our hotel room. We told it to the Concierge at the lobby and wend for several hours for dinner outside the hotel. When we returned, I asked the Concierge is our sink was fixed. His reply astounded us: "I forgot", that was his reply. We were tired and a bit angry. We could not return to our room since we could not brush our teeth with a clogged sink. We had to wait in the lobby for an hour while they tried t fix the sink. They apologized and gave us free drinks. ok. An hour past, no one told us anything so I went upstairs to our room to check - it was fixed and cleaned. ok, nice, but if I hadn't checked it myself, we would have sat there at the lobby the entire night. This is NOT a 5-stars hotel service level, more like a 3-stars, at best. 2. Another concern: The breakfast buffet is terrible. It is a mess, and not in a good way. It is too crowded, handled poorly, long lines just to get an omelet. There is a nice menu on each table where you can order special dishes, but it takes a long time to get it and sometimes you don't receive the order at all, or they mixed it up. I do want to recommend their spa and pool which are superb.

Very small lobby, but great rooms. The property is immaculately clean and staff at the front desk is very helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful location, great location & good breakfast selection. The room could use little more light fixture, so writing in the evening could be easier. The bar is well stocked but didn’t see a bartender.
