"Beds were clean and comfortable. All the plumbing and HVAC and lighting were in good working order. My fellow traveler lost the key to her room, but I found it in my pocket that evening, and no harm came from it. The staff were very undrstanding and helpful during that event. All in all a good two day stay for an older establishment. Don’t let the web site appearance fool you, it’s much beter than they make it look."

"It’s and older style motel that is clean and comfortable. The beds and pillows were great. Parking was good as well. Staff was friendly and helpful. The price is reasonable and affordable. Only a couple miles from the space needle and art museum. I will stay there again when I go up to Seattle and definitely recommend this place to others."

"Solo traveler with dog. I was told the pet fee was $50/night and then handed a paper that listed it as $35/night and was to initial. When I mentioned it said $35 they said that was an old form. So they printed a new one and changed it to 50/night and had me initial. Then they said they needed a $100 incidental fee for damages the dog might do and it would be returned in 3-5 business days. I don't believe this was listed on the website. Clearly they have pet only rooms as mine the furniture was dirty and worn, the A/C did not work, the door to the balcony would not open, and the toilet was not cleaned. The area they had for pets to do their business was very small with dead grass and covered with poop. They list the facility as "smokeless" but shortly after arriving I was able to smell cigarette smoke coming in from a surrounding room. I will not be staying here again. I would have been better off at Motel 6."

"It was a pleasure to stay at the Tides Inn. The staff was excellent and very helpful the room was clean and the view was amazing with deer on the beach in the mornings, we had no problem finding parking and the hot tub in the room with the fireplace a perfect addition to an already great experience. Thank you Tides Inn staff we appreciate you."
