Erakor Island Resort is paradise with smiling friendly helpful staff who make you feel like they appreciate each and every guest. Wonderful walk around the island, snorkelling off the beach. Loved our waterfront tropical villa. The Melanesian feast and fire show on Thursday evenings are a must.

We had an excellent stay. Staff were super friendly, food was great and the water sports were a big hit with the kids. There were a large number of mosquitoes on the island, make sure you bring insect repellent with you.

We had the most wonderful relaxing stay at Erakor. The staff were exceptional, great food, clean and tidy grounds. It is just the most beautiful location. The feast and fire show on Thursday night was amazing and a great opportunity to socialise with other guests. We will be back!

Great choice for relaxing stay in Port Vila

Beautiful island resort a short boat ride from the mainland. Boat was available 24/7, free. Comfortable room with balcony and steps to the water, nice beach next to restaurant, food was good and restaurants outside resort are close by via taxi. Great service, they have activities - the Melanesian Feast with entertainment and fire show was excellent, highly recommend it. Good breakfast too.

This was our second visit to Erakor Island resort and it will not be the last. Absolutely beautiful place, fantastic staff, Lotty, Sarah, Esther and all the rest in the restaurant and activities hut they cannot do enough for you. We went fishing and caught 2 decent size fish and they prepared and cooked it for us for lunch. The room was clean and beautiful. We had one of the new lagoon view villas. Very modern, previous visit we had the honeymoon villa. Both were magic. The water lapping at the front of your villa you can just walk out and have a swim in the beautiful clear water. But take water shoes as there are sea cucumbers, starfish and sea snakes. They won’t hurt you. Food in the restaurant is sooo good, pretty much what you would pay in Australia. Breakfast is complimentary and there is a buffet fruit and baked goods, yogurt, cereal plus you can have eggs and bacon etc. local coffee is yum. The pool is in a beautiful spot and has a slide for kids. There’s a decent playground for kids and daily activities. Theme nights for the whole family. Kayaks and canoes, snorkelling is great. Sunset beach is quiet and often no one else there. Room is well equipped with glasses fridge plate bottle opener etc. you can WhatsApp for a buggy pick up from your room, but it’s not a big walk to restaurant. 10/10 for this beautiful resort.

We had a little villa with a spa bath and our own sunbeds directly in front of the terrace right at the shore. Overall, the villa is well laid out, and furnishings and decor are pleasant to look at. Our mattress was a bit worn and overdue for renewal and the pillows weren't great. The aircon was quite loud and squeaky. The whole resort is well looked after; the gardens are beautiful and well maintained; walkways are being raked daily. Staff is very friendly. Breakfast is served partially to order; there is also a small buffet to choose from (mainly fruit, yoghurt, toast, condiments and sweets). The coffee is excellent. We were there for 5 nights and towards the end I wished for a little more variation. The quality of the food is very good though, which can also be said for dinners which we had most nights at the resort.

I cannot rave enough about how fantastic this Resort is. I am totally amazed at the beautiful, friendly, accommodating and absolutely fantastic service we received from all the staff. The villa we stayed in was exceptional, I have stayed in many places and this is at the top of the list. Do yourself a favour and book in to Erakor it is truly exceptional, you will not want to leave. We didn’t want to leave and have decided to come back again.

We had 4 nights at Erakor Island Resort, and had a fantastic time. The rooms were very comfortable, ours had views of the water which was great(thanks for the upgrade!) and the staff were fantastic and couldnt help enough. The restaurant was very good, with the option of themed nights on certain days, and the pizza/cinema night on a Tuesday. More than enough activities to keep busy if you want. Snorkelling straight off the beach. Thanks again.

The ultimate Island Paradise. From the moment we say the picture of the island we knew we wanted to stay there. It didn't disappoint mostly. The welcome, the staff, the food, the view right outside our door, the snorkeling, the peace and quiet for relaxing all 5 star. The food was fantastic, fresh and tasty. The only slight disappointment was the villas. Very dated, broken taps and door handles, bathroom old and needed updating and we felt the accommodation was way overpriced - but the position and to be able to walk out the back door into the lagoon to snorkel and see tropical fish made up for it. All in all the most memorable relaxing holiday. Highly recommend.

Had the most perfect stay in paradise. Everything you want for a relaxed island getaway. Accomodation was perfect, staff very friendly and helpful and excellent meals at the restaurant. We used the kayaks every day and snorkeled at the small reef to the east of the island. All villas appear to have water frontage. Could not recommend more highly if you are after a low key and relaxing escape
