"Crisp white linens and towels, large rooms (2 bedroom, queen & two twins) living space and bath, great shower pressure, comfortable beds, pillows were a little thin, but serviceable. The motel accommodated a midnight arrival, no issues with getting access to our room. Staff friendly and helpful. "

"I had an amazing stay here during my five-week Oceania trip. My first night was unexpected—I needed an ambulance to the local hospital after a fall on the ferry—but the staff at Bay Vista were incredibly attentive throughout the whole ordeal. They checked on me during the ambulance visit and followed up the next day to make sure I was doing okay (four sutures along my hairline). A special shout-out to Maddie, who was exceptionally caring and checked on me several times. The location is absolutely beautiful, and it has definitely set the bar high for future stays along the southern New Zealand coast. Thank you to the entire team for your kindness and support during a very stressful moment. You all truly rock!"
