Top Porter Corners Hotel Reviews
Lakefront Terrace Resort
10/10 Excellent
"My room had a maintenance issue and they immediately rebooked me at a very similar property even closer in to the village. (Park Lane Motel). I had already spent the afternoon at the hotel, waiting for my room to be ready - enjoying the beach, pool, etc. They were sold out so didn't have an alternative room to offer me, but it turned out the Park Lane was great! An even better location, similar amenities. It was a quick one night getaway and turned out great."

"Soap dispensers were empty but otherwise a wonderful hotel. Enjoyed a nice breakfast selection included with stay. Location is great too, far enough back to avoid traffic noises."

"This was our 4th time staying here! Our go to for Lake George area! Room is always clean and hotel is always well maintained! Indoor and outdoor pools are always well maintained and cared for! Breakfast spread is amazing! And the staff is always very friendly and welcoming every time we're there! Between the ladies that keep Breakfast fresh and clean, to the gentleman that maintains the pools, to the help desk and the custodial staff. They remember us every time and make us feel at home threw our stays! Thank you all!"

"First impressions: check in was ok. Parking wasn't great. We avoided the garage and once we had a decent spot we didn't move our vehicle. We paid for a Lakeview room which on the map was described as a poolside room. We were told these were the "updated rooms". Vinyl plank flooring felt dirty on bare feet from the first day. The flooring had gaps near the tub that made it look dirty and cheaply done. There is no where in the room to sit other than on the bed. The room was a good size so there was plenty of room for a chair or small couch. The private patio was ok but again just uncomfortable cheap chairs to sit in. No little tables or anything. Breakfast in the morning at the hotel restaurant was ok but took almost an hour for the food to come out and the hash browns were solid greasy hockey pucks. We never returned to the dining room. We did get wings out at the bar and they were delicious. The drinks were great too! The private beach is a tiny strip with barely any space. Chairs were lined up on top of each other so we didn't utilize that amenity. Only two out of 7 or 8 firepits were working. The others were out of propane and nobody bothered to fill them during out stay but the cushioned couches outside were a comfy place to sit. Overall the hotel was overpriced for the room and we will be looking into other accommodations the next time we stay but we will definitely utilize there outside cabana bar when we come back. I just didn't feel like the rooms were worth the price."
