"The Doubletree is an excellent option for anyone interested in staying in downtown Poughkeepsie. I have stayed there on three different occasions in the last three months, each time for several days,and have always had a good experience. The staff is friendly and welcoming, the parking is free, access is convenient, there are great restaurants within a short walk, and it is only a short walk to the Poughkeepsie Bridge State Park, which is spectacular. Many rooms have a beautiful view over town...

"Upon arrival we noticed that the place was very well written we thought it was because we stayed in a

room. Our family members were on the other side of the hotel and they experienced the same things. The faucet was hard to turn on to wash our hands and things were worms like the toilet seat cover moved when we sat on it and we are by no means over weight. "
