Great value
The room was surprisingly quiet and peaceful, despite facing the riverside road instead of the river itself. The food in the restaurant is quite delicious, I highly recommend the pork cutlet Prague style.
Only complaints - WiFi only works in restaurant/bar, which closes at 11 unless there is a large group occupying it. Parking is unattended, and they take pains to explain they are not responsible for any damage -- yet it costs an extra 100 CZK per day.
Bottom line - you get what you are paying for, the location is a 15 min walk to the heart of downtown, and rooms are cleaned/turned over daily.

Two weeks on the boat
I stayed 18 days in Botel Racek. You get fair value for what you pay. The staff was fine and easy to communicate with. Just the restaurant on the terrace is kinda pricey in compare to the other restaurants around, but you pay for the nice river view. The shower in the washroom is really small, you can hardly turn around there. I was there in summer so the room was really warm with no A/C.

It's a vacation trip.
It was a nice trip except that the hotel room was a consistent headache even away from it.
The hotel (Botel Racek) room was small but acceptable, but the bathroom was confined in tiny cubicle, with a shower place at a corner is too small to turn my body around without touching either a wall or a dirty shower curtain. And the water from the shower splashed all around the tiny cubicle. It's very distressful, I greatly regret that I chose this one. I even thought about how it can be remodeled to have any tourist. Well. It's a disaster.

Boat ahoy!
Great service, small room, older property, semi-convenient location, low quality breakfast. Same as it was when we stayed here before. The uniqueness of a boat, the view, and the ducks brought us back.
