I booked this hotel for my wife to celebrate her birthday during 4 days in her favourite city (Prague). So, next is what she experiences with hotel Certovka staying:
Unfortunately it was the worst customer service I’ve ever received! The old lady (I guess her name is Evelyn) at the reception desk was so rude and unresponsive for any reason! The sink in my room was plugged up and I complained about it to receptionist on my very first day of staying. The next day it wasn’t fixed and I went to reception and asked nicely about it again, but instead of apology she says (with attitude) that she was in my room and checked it out personally and found nothing wrong with it!?! I have a proof of that sink working improperly and I never asked her for anything else (like my money back or change the room) then I don’t see any reason to be so rude to me, especially on my birthday. Same rude respond I got from her for all my questions regarding the night check out (when nobody/receptionist is there, which is so inconvenient for every customer I spoke to over there) and breakfast to go - she’s basically said that it’s my problems!?!… The only one good thing about this place is its location, but everything else is just not really good. The hotel room was outdated, the shower was so small and not really clean (with no shampoo provided), the room a/c has only cold air mode, the power outlets was so far from the bed and there were just 2 of them.
So based on that I wish we should have refund.
