A quaint, old school hotel in a nice location close to the river and convenient for public transport. The breakfast was good and served in a pleasant dining room. Nice room but for a slightly cranky shower.

The property is very unique and ornate. I loved the decor, it felt so regal! We had a wonderful stay and it was a great location, we explored Petrin Park and the many eateries nearby.

Overall this hotel is a convenient pick for a short stay in Prague. The rooms are quite outdated but they do the job. Can’t beat the proximity to tram station.

Not fancy but a hotel with Culture and Spirit. Easy to reach from the Airport by bus and tram. Near all "have to see" in Prag. My favorit!

Excellent location outside the busy tourist areas, but close enough to get to the areas within 10-15 mins by public transport. Rooms were a good size and bathroom amenities were good within the room. However, Breakfast options were limited with some options not replenished or machines broken some days.

The hotel was the the real 4 star, big room, coffee machine. individual shampoo and other perks. The location is very good 5 minutes by foot to the metro and big shopping center and a few tram stops to all major city attractions. The staff is very good. Breakfast room was very crowded ( no free tables ) at about 10 o'clock

Great breakfast, not so good sleep quality

We had a very nice stay at Kinsky Fontain. The hotel is really classy. Good breakfast with all types of coffee. Many mini bottles of hair/body products in the bathroom. Walking distanse to city center. The only two things that could have been approved is that the A/C did not work. It was really hot in the rooms. And the beds had hard matresses. Not the best nights of sleep for us.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at Hotel Kinsky Fountain. The hotel is close to a tram stop and a Hop On Hop Off bus stop, which made it very convenient for getting to all the sightseeing in Prague. Breakfast provided a nice selection of both hot and cold options. The staff were friendly and helpful. We appreciated the bathrobes and slippers that were provided, as well as the nice array of bath amenities which included separate hair conditioner. Our room (#103) was comfortable, though quite small. The closet was tiny and the only furniture was 2 small end tables by the bed and a desk. The bathroom door was warped and didn't want to close. I think other rooms might have been much better. Although the hotel does have an elevator, there are steps from the lobby to the elevator, which poses a problem for anyone who is unable to carry their suitcase up the stairs. The reception staff did help with that, though. In all, I would recommend this hotel.

A gem with a few rough edges

Waited an hour in the lobby upon arrival because of reservation problems- they didn’t confirm the reservation on their end although the website did. I was given in upgraded room because the room is booked wasn’t available. Hot water wasn’t working well throughout the hotel- out of 3 showers I tried to take only once was warm water available. Receptionist said it was due to renovation work on the hotel and the fact that it was full, and suggested letting it run until warm water came or showering during times when most others weren’t (avoiding morning and night). Having said all, the hotel is beautiful. Room was comfortable and in a quiet and convenient area. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet in the morning was quite nice as well. I shouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel so long as they work out their problems with the hot water.
