Excellent place to stay in a perfect location! The rooms are spacious and luxurious. Breakfast at the Deer restaurant is definitely worth adding on! 2 minute walk to the astronomical clock and Old Town Square. Price was certainly reasonable for the convenience and comfortable stay.

Superb location, fantastic building, good breakfast, great chef, the bathroom could have a step stool (the tab wall is as tall as the Great Wall of China), shower bracket and better curtain, but I can live with that and maybe it’s normal in Prague, staff can pay more attention to guests, no kidding the tips are automatically included in the check, they don’t need to deserve them, so they definitely don’t try. Again, location, room, food, views are all stars.

The hotel is in great location and my room was great. The staff leaves a lot to be desired. They are not welcoming (understand this is a Czech thing) and utterly careless. Did not provide the wake-up call I requested and mishandled airport taxi order for my friends.

We really enjoyed our stay. Friendly staff and very clean room every day. Our room was a bit noisy but you’re so close to the main square it’s such a perfect location. So the noise is a bit of a trade off. I wore earplugs and slept fine. I would stay again and recommend this hotel

Such a lovely place to stay and not far from the old square. We would recommend Iron Gate Hotel, very clean facilities, excellent restaurant and bar, the staff are very attentive and the food is excellent, only thing is that the breakfast wasn’t very hot but that is the only thing. We have had a wonderful time.

The room is very spacious. However, the bed is extremely hard and the pillow is not comfortable either. I like to sleep on my side and I woke up in pain on one side of my body. The breakfast is good. A good selection of hot and cold food.

The hotel is nicely situated in the old town and the room was clean and characterful. The staff helpful and friendly and the food in the restaurant lovely. However, our junior suite (which I cannot see any photos of on the website) was located on the ground floor, the only natural light coming from a floor length stained glass door which was directly off a pathed alleyway connecting 2 streets directly through the hotel. It had no view or opening window for any fresh air. The room was directly opposite the restaurant and next to the lobby toilet. The small entrance to the room was the maid store so this made it loud from 0700 through to around 11pm. We could hear hand driers, waste water from all directions past our room and the noisy restaurant all day. Admittedly we didn’t complain to the reception as we only had a 1 night stay. The hotel boasts 5 stars, our room seemed more 3 star so fairly disappointing for the price.
