Great stay!
Very nice hotel with a good breakfast buffet and an welcoming entrance. The staff there was very nice, I hoghly recommended and of you have time try their pools or spa options.

The staff was very helpful. We took a 2 euro train to Florence. Train station is only a minute away. Prato is also a great Tuscan city with plenty to see. A great place for evening eats and walks.

Wonderful stay
Hotel Giordano is operated by this amazing family that manages everything. They were extremely helpful and sweet. Never missed a smile. Breakfast was small but good. Dont forget to try the croissants, they are delectable. Our family room was small but adequate. Beds were a little hard but this seems to be typical of Italy. Location is across from the duomo.

We had an amazing experience here. We really enjoyed the hospitality and the people who ran the hotel were exceptionally friendly! From here we trained into Florence and it was only a half hour. It was nice to come back to a quiet place.

Nice, quaint Italian experience!
The hotel staff were AMAZING! The location is really convenient, too. The local train station is a quick five minute walk - recommend taking it from Naples instead of taxi. Morning breakfast was nice and the rooms are older, but clean and comfortable. The city of Prato has a nice small feel to it and this hotel fits in perfectly with that.

Hotel was very nice. Owners very friendly and helpful. Prato itself though did not have much to offer for a 3 night stay. Good as a one night drive through.

The Giardino family were so kind and generous. They make you feel like family. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast prepared by Mama was always delicious. The smell of baking croissants woke me up in the morning because they smelled so good. They were happy to give suggestions for dinner and were always helpful. They speak good English so we did very well there. We would love to return.

The rooms are the size I expected for Europe. The staff was very nice and friendly. It is a family run hotel which I enjoyed. The price was great, the room was very clean and it was only one short street to the train station which was very convenient!

Nice hotel in the centre of Prato
I was hear for a business trip and this hotel was just what I needed. I would stay there again with no hesitation. Nothing fancy, but a solidly good hotel.

Our 3rd visit here!
Wonderful family runs this small location which is adjacent to the main piazza. Comfortable room and perfect location. Had a minor accident while in Prato and the hotel staff was very helpful. Will stay here again.

I stayed at the Hotel Giardino from Oct. 18 - 25, 2014. I could not have been happier with my accommodations. The room was very clean and everything worked perfectly. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and went out of their way to make me feel at home. The location was perfect. I would highly recommend this hotel and if I ever get back to Prato, Italy, I will definitely stay there again. Thank you for a great vacation!!

A terrific 3 star hotel
We loved this hotel. We booked a 3 star hotel and it was everything we could have hoped for. Terrific location for us - we were at a conference at Monash. Great cafes/restaurants close by. Spacious room. Friendly service - just loved it.

Perfect location, not so perfect matress/bed!
Great family place. Overall satisfied, nice place. My biggest complaint, and a BIG one, was the bed! It sloped! Really really need to be updated! Other than that, great stay, bt without newer beds, people with bad backs like me will have to choose another place. Great location, a bit loud at night (bar nearby).

A room we did use more than 3 hrs!
A noisy room in a small quiet town Very basic Room ugly and bare The bed mattress was very anti anatomical! So were the pillows We decided to leave after an afternoon nap!

Another perfect stay
This was my second weeklong stay at this hotel. We hope to come back frequently. The family who runs it is delightful and the location at the piazza is perfect. We felt quite at home and the ability to take the nearby train into Florence and nearby hill towns but return "home" to quiet Prato is just wonderful.

lovely little hotel on the piazza.
I just came back from there and had a lovely experience. the owners are lovely. i had a second floor corner room overlooking the piazza. The outdoor cafe across the road can get loud at night but the window can block it a bit. I didnt mind, thinking it part of the Italian experience. if noise would bother you ask for a room at the back. The church next door is incredible and the area is beautiful and safe with easy access to the train station. i will go back next year and make it home base as i visit other Tuscan towns. I could have stayed in Prato forever.

Highly recommended hotel
The service in this place was amazing. The people at the hotel are very helpful and super nice. Just the behavior of the hotel owners itself deserves full stars.They are so kind, nice and help you with everything. No matter if there is a question about how to find something, or how to order a taxi for you.The people working there was smiling and you felt welcomed and at home. Compared to other hotels it is a small hotel, which I personally find a good thing as it is easy to figure out where to go and not. The hotel includes free breakfast as well. I went there to go to a concert, and the concert was beside the hotel. So it is a must to check into this hotel if you are going to a concert in Piazza del Duomo. The hotel room as of course old fashioned, but it is super clean and comfy. So you can relax and not worry. I saw some review about it being a noisy area, I was there during the "music festival" so of course it was a little bit loud until 11 at night. But I do disagree, I slept great. The windows they have "blocks" a lot of the sounds from the outside. Another nice thing about the hotel is that it is close to whatever you want to do. No matter if it is going out for food or shopping etc. I highly recommend this hotel, and I hope this review make others people visit the hotel as well. Because they truly deserve it. If I ever traveled to Prato there would be no doubt that I would chose this hotel again.

Hotellet viste seg utmerket som "base" for daglige besøk til Firenze, et av hovedmålene for reisen, med sine mange severdigheter og ekskursjonsmuligheter. Hotellet lå i et sjarmerende og klassisk småbyaktig område av Prato, med stort torg med katedral, samt små gater der vi flere ganger hadde glede av menyene til et par av de små (ute)restaurantene. En utmerket dagligvare-/delikatesseforretning like over torget var veldig "kjekk å ha" så lett tilgjengelig. En kort spasertur i motsatt retning brakte en til jernbanestasjonen, som var hyppig frekventert av tog til Firenze. På hotellet ble vi møtt av et vennlig og imøtekommende vertskap og rommet hadde alle de for oss essensielle fasiliteter, med en temperering og ro som sikret en god natts søvn. Frokosten var enkel, men hva mer behøvde en når bakverket med pålegg, kaffe, frisk juice etc. og kanskje avslutning med en (halv!) croissant, smakte utmerket.

Albergo sulla Piazza del Duomo, camera grande e pulita, bel bagno e letto comodo. Possibilità di parcheggiare fuori dal centro sulle strisce blu senza pagare grazie al tagliando fornito dall'hotel.

Grazioso albergo a due passi dal centro
L'albergo è confortevole e molto centrale, a due passi dal Duomo, risalente al XII secolo. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile. La colazione è ottima e abbondante. E' possibile parcheggiare nei pressi dell'albergo con un pass messo a disposizione dall'hotel.
