"Room quite small
Bathroom adequate
The building itself is very complicated to get to the roof Terrace and the gym with different elevators
The combination of the student accommodation and hotel is okay, but not a great fit
The bar on the roof is open to the public which is fair enough but they should prioritise hotel guest which they don’t given the fact that we’re paying to stay there they should. Particular bad service in that bar which file equivalent to local people over hotel guest I saw that in a couple of occasions. "
"Very difficult to get to and park when you’re not Italian and are in a rental car. Otherwise, this was very clean with great proximity to the train station where we needed to be the next morning."
"IQ Hotel Firenze is my favorite hotel in Italy! The staff goes beyond my expectations in every way. The breakfast buffet is amazing in quantity and quality. The location is perfect, central to both the Duomo and the mercato centrale. "
"The hotel was overall decent, with a good breakfast and very hardworking staff in the breakfast area who were constantly attentive and helpful. Check-in took quite a long time, and unfortunately one front desk staff member came across as rude, which made the experience a bit uncomfortable. Aside from that, it was a pleasant enough stay."
"Here’s a polished version that keeps your tone but reads a little smoother:
I believe we upgraded for the breakfast, and honestly, unless you’re paying for the convenience, I wouldn’t recommend it. In my opinion, it wasn’t worth it when there are much better and very inexpensive options close by.
The room also wasn’t as clean as I would have liked. It lacked simple things like tissues and a shower cap, and the patio and bathroom walls were never cleaned during our stay.
That said, the front desk staff was very friendly, and the location near the train station could definitely be helpful depending on your needs."
"This hotel is well located to the train station and a quick walk to everything you would want. The hotel itself is very dark. Dark grey walls, dark wood. It is not modern at all. Breakfast was fine. Linens were good but the hotel itself is kind of depressing. One of my friends had a terrible experience as her room was located above where the hotel empties the sewage and the smell went i to her room. Hotel did nothing to help her. "
"Breakfast was beautiful , plentiful, and delicious. Dining room staff were attentive without being overbearing!
Wonderful atmosphere and great way to start our day."
