"This is a relatively new resort with extremely helpful and friendly staff, that seemed to bend over backward to help. The rooms were well appointed, amazingly powerful showers, comfortable beds and our room had a private pool and ocean view (albeit over the top of a hedge). Often there was a little treat as a nice surprise left in the room for us in the evenings. The food in the restaurant was excellent as was the wine, but along with other restaurants, the local wines are very expensive (once you go on a wine tour you find out why!) It location was a little way outside the main town of Oia and required an 15 minute uphill walk to get to the main tourist areas (shops and restaurants) and views across the Caldera, but you could still view the sunset from the bar/restaurant"
