A hotel with a lot of old charm

The staff at Gala were great. The location is excellent and amazingly quiet when you shut the windows. Loved the roof top to relax with a cold one and the breakfast. Easy and safe to walk all over. Great restaurants nearby.

The building itself was quite nice with a nice rooftop. The bedrooms were a little outdated and could have been cleaner. The breakfast also wasn’t great-just fruit and a coffee. The area was perfect for Puebla and in a great location for walking the city. It was very reasonably priced for the off season.

The staff were helpful and the property had old world charm. Good value for money. Needed to be less dusty on the floors. A fan is needed for every room. Water would be helpful on each floor. Better toiletries in the shower.

This hotel lacks breakfast since it only serves a few slices of fruit, a piece of bread and a coffee. If you work remotely, DO NOT stay here as the hotel is EXTREMELY SLOW. I had to use a lot of my data to provide a hotspot to my laptop. The only thing that is good is the location as it is a minute away from the main square.

They need to provide shampoo and other toiletries. Bare minimum. This was not ok. Good location. The coffee is terrible. Upgrade the coffee. Terrible coffee at the roof top restaurant. This is Mexico get some good coffee. The man at night the watchman was very nice he made sure I was safe.

Excellent staff. A very poor breakfast. One piece of toast & 4 slides of orange. Amazing view from deck on roof. No elevator so being your own to carry your bags up & down the different floors. Very clean. Toilet tank water valve broken. I instructed them to fix it once I check out. I am living with it.
