Calpe’s Puerto Blanco Beach is a compact size of 328 feet (100 meters) long and 32 feet (10 meters) wide and is a favored destination for divers. The rocky bottom is a rich habitat for flora and fauna that’s not found at other nearby beaches making it one of the best in the area for underwater activities. Puerto Blanco Beach is easily accessible from Calpe, which lies directly behind it and where you may want to consider a meal or beverage, or go to the snack bar located on the beach during the summer. Walk a mile (2 kilometers) inland to the picturesque old section of town and amble through its narrow streets with immaculate buildings. Look for the colorful mosaics and murals on the walls and even on the ground.
