"This is a HOSTEL, not a HOTEL. So,
PRO: Súper friendly staff, big kitchen you can use, right in front of the beach, in the middle of nowhere. No people around. Perfect for a getaway with no cellphones.
CONS: Not the cleanest place, they don’t clean the rooms during your stay, staff only works during mornings so if you need something during the day it’s kinda difficult. The beach is full of garbage and full of sargazo which even if it’s not their fault they could clean the beach in front of the...
"Very satisfied stay, accessible of everything, staffs are pleasant, courteous & very helpful. Likewise with Malecón21 restaurant , waiters/waitress are very friendly, polite & helpful. "
"Close to the beach, restaurant hostess attitude was nice, and breakfast good. Pool is big and clean. Hotel has a unique style but needs upgrades and maintenance."
"A kind of magic come true. The service/staff/owner make you feel as if you are at your own home. Simply great, I would highly recommend it. Truly loving place ❤️👏👏"
"Paradise and peace. We loved it at Margarita del Sol. Although, the drive from the town to the hotel, not the hotel’s fault, was really rough.
Please remember to purchase food before you get there as you won’t want to leave to traverse the road back into town.
Lulu is lovely and extremely kind and helpful.

"The internet in the room doesn't work, neither in the hotel only around the pool, there is a terrible smell of mold and humidity that enter in the lungs, I couldn't breath properly and I have asthma all night. There was no staff at night, the reception was totally closed and in the morning afer I told them the issues they just do not care."

"We visited Mahahual for the first time, traveling from Cancun with a stop at Xel-Ha along the way. The property manager was very accommodating and arranged a smooth late check-in for us. My daughter absolutely loved the beach right in front of the hotel, and we also booked an amazing snorkeling tour. While the hotel doesn’t have on-site parking, we found a safe spot by the basketball court just behind the property. We stayed in a double room, which was comfortable and met our needs, with cozy beds for a good night’s rest."
"The hotel is very clean, the staff very friendly and helpful. It has everything you need. The beach is about 10 steps away. The loungers are very comfortable. It's free of sargassum, as the personal cleans every day very early."
