I had a pleasant stay at the resort. In front of our room was a mulberry tree full of ripe fruits, which added a unique and refreshing touch to the overall experience. The resort is pet-friendly, which I truly appreciated. There were cats around the property that would visit our room regularly, especially since we were feeding them. Their presence added a warm and charming atmosphere, particularly for guests who enjoy being around animals. I was looking forward to snorkeling; however, we were advised upon arrival that swimming in the sea was temporarily restricted due to the presence of jellyfish. While this limited the activity, I understand that this measure was taken to ensure the safety of guests. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, especially for those who appreciate nature and a pet-friendly environment.

I had an absolutely lovely stay at Edgewater. From the time I booked my reservation until the time I departed, I received thoughtful care and support from every team member. As a solo traveller who would be very far from home, I had many questions before my trip. The staff was always very quick to respond and provided thorough answers and helpful guidance. Throughout my stay, they continued to offer support and assistance. I came to the Philippines for diving, and the dive team ensured I felt safe, comfortable and confident after taking a few years away from diving. In addition to the phenomenal dive masters, I greatly appreciated the small number of divers per dive master. We visited a nice variety of sites, including sites with brilliantly colored soft and hard corals and a multitude of fish, as well as muck diving. The team not only met, but exceeded all my expectations. I also had the opportunity to dive at Verde Island, which was breathtakingly beautiful and a world-class dive site. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. My room and the resort was always very clean and inviting, and the bed was so comfortable after a full day. My stay at Edgewater was amazing, from every perspective, and was filled with very warm hospitality. I highly recommend Edgewater!

Very cozy hotel

Very nice. It is a good hotel that is small and well serviced. We bring our small dogs. The entire staff was very pleasant and accommodating to our dogs. We would like to back again. Thank you.

Perfect place to relax & unwind.

It was the best & great experience to stay for a while I can’t wait to visit again hopefully next year. Staff are very friendly & accommodating. Transportation all the way to pier are very easy and fast by the boat.

Alas! A proper "Retreat" in waiting...

Property is located in a quiet and peaceful part of Puerto Galera and is accessible from both main road and resort's own speedboat. We stayed in the Loft suite facing a small lawn garden. Room was split level with the bed upstairs and a large sized toilet/shower and living area downstairs. Basic toiletries but good cable channels are available for both TVs in room. Breakfast was included A-la-Carte off a good selection menu. We enjoyed the breakfast very much overlooking a tranquil scenery, as the food was both scrumptious and generously portioned. Resort owner Richard was welcoming and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Only gripe was the terrible sound insulation in the room as we were woken up half the night by the sewage treatment facility, located below our room window, when the flushing noises started at 3am; and the few roosters not knowing the time of day at 4am as well. Unfortunately, it was not a good night rest for us, which was a real pity as the resort is generally peaceful and serene at times! Though Richard has promised to resolve the situation after our prompt feedback but for us it's too late!

サバンビーチからはそれなりに離れているので、買い物などで、徒歩で移動するのは、少し難しい立地です。その分夜は静かなので、ゆっくりと眠ることができると思います。スタッフの対応なども良く親切ですが、非常に厳しいマニュアルが有るのだと思います。最初にホテルの説明などを受けますが、今回僕がホテルに到着したとき、台風のため、僕も妻もずぶ濡れでした。親切なスタッフさんは、タオルを最初に提供してくれましたが、可能なら最初に部屋に通して着替えをしたかったです。臨機応変な対応があれば更に素晴らしいホテルだと思います。それ以外は、スタッフの方も親切ですし設備も綺麗で静かで良いホテルです。

Perfect gateway....

Perfect gateway for a long week end.... The only problem was the usual chaotic trip from Batangas as it was a public holiday.... However the resort have their own boat that can cross to Batangas at a decent rate. We took it to come back.... Other than that it is really a lovely place..... Rooms are nice and clean... Everything is brand new..... And the service is outstanding..... Staff are all very professional and adorable..... The food is also great in the hand of Louis a french Chef.......

Great place to relax

天候の良くないシーズンでしたが最高のステイでした。ビーチから少し離れていて静かなため、日本人にとっては過ごしやすいかもしれません。スタッフもフレンドリーで、清掃も行き届いています。マネージャーの方は少し日本滞在経験があり、日本語も話せます。ホテルからビーチ等へも送迎（有料）してくれるため、移動にもあまり困りません。 Although it was rainy and cloudy most of the time, i had a great stay with friendly staffs. Since it is little far from the beaches, quiet and cozy circumstance is great for you to relax. If you want to head out to the beaches, ask at the front desk and the hotel tri will give you a ride. Diving experience was exclusive also.
