A beautiful property set in the heart of Puligny Montrachet. The perfect location for fine dining and excellent wine. The wine tour of the vineyards was first class. Learning about the vineyards, grapes, soils & aspect was memorable.

Comfy beds. Tacky Lipstick colored plastic furniture in room. Charged $10 for a one hour late checkout & $6 per bottle for their own filtered water. Front desk lady had an attitude.

Dear Sir,Thank you very much for taking time to write a comment.I am sorry that you have some bads feeling about your invoice.Early check in is a supplement as we write you in your confirmation 10/hour before check in at 16h00 it's a service non free.For the water in the Gastronomique Restaurant it's filtred water with a big work to developpe the best water for wine tasting and it'a also a additionnal service.The rate are in the Menu.Finally I am sorry that you don't like your room decoration, there is no point about good or bad taste , all our rooms are very different and we have taken time to have not the same decoration in each rooms.I hope you will come back again and try another room.All the best,

We enjoyed this property, the small town of Montrachet and several surrounding rambles during harvest! It was a perfect wine immersion - and this hotel and restaurant provided impeccable hospitality.

Very nice room with classic fixtures and exposed beams. Beautiful restaurant - we had nine course wine degustation and three course meal. Sommelier was excellent (including in English) and owner dropped in to say hello and was ver welcoming. Would absolutely stay again. Also right in the town center.

Amazing hotel, staff, service, food and wine pairing. I just wish the toilet in the bathroom had a wash basin and the door didn't have a huge slot as the sound echoed into the nice bedroom a lot. Also I wished the shower had a glass door to stop water splashing into the main bathroom area. Other than that, perfect hotel.

Room was spotless and such a fantastic bed. Slept like a log. The restaurant was fantastic, food was delicious and dont get me started on the wine, i will be buying a lorry load of theh stuff... We will most certainly be back.

Beautifully quaint French country stay
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maison d’Olivier Leflaive. The room was so cozy and lovely, the bathroom was elegant, and I thought the location was perfect. It was a short car ride (10mins) from Beaune but it was settled perfectly along the vineyard bike path on the Southern Loop which made for a fantastic day of biking and picnicking through the vineyards! The staff was so friendly and the Sommelier was kind and knowledgeable. I look forward to staying here again!

Village gem in Burgundy
We were looking for a quiet getaway in Burgundy and this hotel delivered. Dinner with wine pairing was a delicious welcome to the area. And we were within quick driving distance to other areas in Burgundy. The reception was warm and inviting and the rooms were so clean. Rooms looked out on a lovely town square.

Love staying here
This was our second visit and we really like staying here. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable with an air conditioner that definitely works. Staff is terrific, the restaurant at the hotel is excellent and there are other good restaurants within easy walking distance. And the wines....enough said!

Gem in beautiful Puligny-Montrachet
The restaurant is excellent and try one of the wine tastings to experience the wines produced by the owners--who are very present to ensure the comfort of their guests. You can also tour the vineyards and the winery.

Loved the hotel!!!
My wife and I stayed at the Maison Olivier Leflaive for 4 nights in March 2016. From the moment we checked in, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All the staff were welcoming and went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable with special thanks to Julie (manager), Ingrid (sommelier and vineyard tour) as well as Mr. Patrick Leflaive who guided us on the winery tour and was ever present in the hotel every day. We took full advantage of the hotel by having their wine tasting dinner as well as going on a tour of the vineyards and winery owned by the Leflaive family. Nothing disappointed. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to spend some time in the Burgundy area. We will definitely be back.

I was driving to the South of France from London. I needed a place to stay half way and was recommended this hotel. It was a perfect stopover point for me so much so that I stayed there again on my return. It was a fantastic experience !!

Great stay especially for wine buffs
Stayed for 2 nights, lovely room in an old building that has been tastefully renovated, in the middle of Puligny Montrachet village. Powerful shower, clean spacious room with complimentary mineral water and coffee/tea. They offer a vineyard tour with their sommelier as well as a winery visit with one of the owners, followed by a guided tasting lunch or dinner. Everyone very friendly and helpful.

Staff especially Julie lefleive very pleasant and accommodating. Changed room due to noise and Julie gave us room with patio. Very nice. We ate one dinner with wine paring. Very much fun; waiter very nice and informative. Food however was pedestrian at best and much more care could be given. We might have eaten another meal there with the wine parings but food so boring and careless we went elsewhere. Still that said we enjoyed our time very much

Unfortunately the hotel restaurant was closed on Sunday evening so we did not get to sample its renowned food. The hotel emailed us and arranged superb alternative at local bistrot - which we highly recommend.

Meet the winemaker! Feel Old World tradition!
Amazing experience! If you know wines of Burgundy, then you know Olivier LaFlaive's Chardonnays and Pinot Noir. This property is owned by the winemaker and his brother Patrick and run by his daughter. The family invites you into their property and lives as you get met at dinner, taken on a tour of their vineyards and winery, and (best of all) get to sample up to 9 of their wines at a fabulous 5 course tasting dinner (make reservations upon arrival). Right next door is a classic French bakery with fresh sweet and savory pastries each morning. Oh yeah the room - very cute, good A/C, comfy bed, a lift! Relax in the room, but come for the Burgundy village experience.

Lovely hotel in the heart of Burgundy
Lovely hotel in a nice, quiet area of Burgundy. We enjoyed dinner in the dining room. We did not opt for the wine tasting menu, but the bartender did a fantastic job pairing our wines for us. The facility has a lovely selection of wines for purchase. Will definitely go back during the spring or fall and take a tour of the vineyards.

Enjoyable stay in Pulignt-Montrachet
We usually stay at a small B & B which was unavailable. We really enjoyed the hotel itself, the staff was very welcoming, and helpful. I did think that breakfast should have been included for the price, however. Mr. Leflaive did come and introduce himself which was a very nice touch.

Superb hotel in theheart of quality wine country
Wonderful staff, room, meals and wine. The wine tour is particularly good as is the wine tasting menu and the chance to choose from different flights of wine depending upon your budget. I chose the most expensive (45E) and received an excellent tasting of village and premier cru wines from the top villages of the area. The staff and owners are very knowledgeable as they should be as they make these wines themselves. Everyone was friendly, helpful and polite. The hotel is quiet and relaxed. The best hotel experience I have had this year.

Charming Hotel in the midst of wine growing region
Lovely hotel in the quiet little village of Puligny. We had a top floor room with beautiful views to the rear with the church and vines growing on the hills. If you want a full tour of the of vines growing, to wine making and bottling - followed by a tasting lunch and meeting the owner Oliver - then this is the place.

Wonderful, charming little villa
I and two friends stayed for 3 nights at this little vineyard hotel and restaurant. The people were gracious and friendly, and one of the two LeFlaive brothers came to greet us at dinner and each morning thereafter. The hotel is intimate and charming, on a tiny village square. We had a balcony overlooking the square; the beds were comfortable and the rooms clean and nice. We had their 7-wine tasting at dinner the first night. The food was perfectly nice, but the wine tasting didn't present any of their better wines, so that was a disappointment. One other small issue to note was that the tub/shower in the standard room is not friendly to shorter folks who need help getting in and out of it -- the tub is very high and there is nothing stable to hold onto. (The deluxe room had a walk-in shower, which was delightful!) Other than those two minor issues, it was a wonderful escape to former days in a quaint, comfortable establishment with lovely, helpful people! And it's very close (by car) to most of the Burgundian sites to visit! Stayed July 2014, traveled with friends

Delightful 5 nights
We recently spent 5 nights and were very happy with our stay. Mamagement has, with the experience of 19 generations, everything from check in to check out running smoothly. Julie and her father could not have been more accomodating nor more pleasant. Their staff followed their example providing friendly, entusiastic and efficient service. The food was very good to excellent. We particularly enjoyed the crispy goat cheese. The wine list was surprisingly short but provided a good cross section of Burgundy's many offerings. Breakfast was good with a plentiful assortment of fruit, croissants, cheese, ham etc.. Only 3 cereals were available. Tasty omlettes were also available. Since you could order a pot of coffee it was possible to get a full cup as opossed to the French custom of small servings. Overall we would rate the dunning experience very good but not the hotel's best feature. Five nights is a long stay in a very small town but we enjoyed exploring the many small villages in the area and of course the vineyards. And it always felt good to return to Olivier. Wonderful hotel.

Super hotel in Burgundy.
This is a very modern hotel with excellent facilities. The modest menu with an interesting tasting menu of 5, 7 or 9 of Olivier Leflaive wines is a superb way of experiencing great Burgundy wines. It was especially nice that Olivier Leflaive took the time to introduce himself to us, and that the tour of the winery was hosted by Patrick Leflaive himself. The personal touch made this a memorable visit, and we cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.
