The twin bed room is very small as it is in the busy area in Umeda. The breakfast provided in the restaurant on the 1/F has a variety of food, like Japanese style food, western style food, salad and fruits. It is a reasonable choice if you don't need to stay in the hotel for long hours during your visit in Osaka.

Great stay, great value.

Wow, such a great stay! The staff were friendly and accommodating. We had a baby bed cot set up in our room (as requested) and it fit like a puzzle near the bathroom - even in the small room. They also loaned us an electrical adapter when we realised ours didn’t fit. The room was clean and the location was excellent. There was a bar fridge so we could put yogurt in it for breakfast for the toddler. The hotel provide filtered water in the foyer. Would be happy to stay at Ibis Osaka Umeda in future.

We were here for 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay! My boyfriend found this bed to be the most comfortable of the 5 hotels we booked. We chose this hotel mainly for the proximity to Osaka/Umeda Station which we found great for getting around. There’s a station exit right next to the hotel. There are many affordable and tasty dining options close to the hotel, so you’ll never go hungry. Overall, this was a great stay!

Great experience and highly recommend to others

Location is convenient to anywhere, mostly in walking distances. Services were great, just wish the room can be a little bit bigger for the size of room for two and three people were mostly the same, can barely open the luggage.

We were only in Osaka for one night (for a Hanshin Tigers baseball game) and this was a nice hotel at a great price for our needs. Room was small, but that’s standard for Japan. Location was great, in short walking distance to Osaka Station, which made getting around the city incredibly easy. Staff was friendly and helpful, and luggage storage was available so that we could leave our bags and explore the city before the official check in time. Overall, a perfectly nice experience.

I was seeing a band (Gacharic Spin) at UMEDA Trad. This hotel was perfectly placed between the shinkansen station and this venue. So was perfect. The breakfast buffet was full and varied. The location was perfect. For these reasons, this hotel will be my first choice whenever I visit Osaka. Perfect.

Good location

The overall is good, the room is very small and good for only one big suitcase but It is clean and comfortable. The location is good, close to metro and it takes about 6-7 min to Osaka Station, also close to Umeda station. No free bottle water is offered but they have water machine for refill. I booked a double bed room, and good enough for me and my 8-year-old daughter.

Clean and quiet. Direct access to underground shopping street that leads to major railway and subway stations. Room a little small but at this price it's acceptable. One complaint: At the lobby a notice says if you register to become member you can get two free cans of drinks. I did so, but then was told that I have to register before I booked the hotel. There is no way for me to delete my account and I feel cheated. Not a good way to do business.

Only Hotel which didn’t helped me out with my prior request for a quiet room since I had to get up really early everyday. I know that request are subjects to availability but since I booked over half a year in advance you can not tell me that around this time there were no possibility available in the room organization. Would have understood if I had booked last minute but not with this much time ahead, the Hotel just simply did not care about guest wellbeing. It felt like take it or leave it. Got a room next to the elevator and on the 4th floor with the window next to the other buildings ventilation system which came with a annoying noise which never stoped. Overall this made me feel very unsafe for the first time in Japan as a solo traveling female because the sounds of people outside my door and the constant mechanical brimming kept me alert and on edge for the nights I stayed. Would not book again or recommend.
