The room shown in pictures with net to sit on, is old and the bathroom is not featured in promotional pictures for a reason. Affectionately referred to by many as the "Mother Temple of Bali," the Pura Besakih temple complex is Bali's largest and most important temple. Made up of 23 temples on the slopes of Mount Agung, Pura Besakih unfortunately has a negative reputation due to the many locals who harass travellers visiting on their own, telling them that hiring a guide is mandatory (when it is not).
