"Stopped here from Heathrow before traveling on to more family, we stayed 2 nights and meet family and friends. Food and service were good, the animals was a bonus, the sensory area with the TV was our hang out with the kids."

"Clean room, excellent breakfast bar and all-day menu, lovely view from the brasserie on to the Thames. Also, very convenient to train, Castle, restaurants and shops. Disappointed to have a room with a poor window view on to a narrow passage way. A couple of other minor irritations could be resolved through calls to reception/maintenance staff. I’d stay there again, but would stipulate room preferences."

"Really clean room. Lovely grounds and entrance into the lobby. Everything was perfect. Usually hotel rooms in these places are noisy and cold but this was perfection. Staff were really nice too."

"As I was on a business trip I needed to be out by 8am. Surprisingly, they don't start breakfast service until 8am on weekdays so not an option. Room was fine, a single with enough space. "

"The reception staff was kind enough to resolve the issue I had with the room that I was first assigned with but the housekeeping supervisor who came to check the room needs to work on her customer service skills. Instead of addressing the issue her tone her facial expression was full of sarcasm and attitude. The rest of staff are friendly and welcoming. "

"I recently stayed at the Village Hotel Bracknell for a 1-night family stay (2 adults, 2 kids). The experience was unfortunately ruined by poor communication and rude staff. Room Issues Our family room was unbearably hot due to a broken AC. I reported this at 7:00 PM before dinner. When we returned at 9:00 PM, it was still broken. Reception initially claimed no other family rooms were available. Only after significant persuasion were we finally given two double rooms. I appreciate the eventual resolution, but it shouldn't have been a long winded negotiation. Dinner Disaster At our 7:00 PM dinner, no one warned us about kitchen delays or how the kids' meals worked. We waited a full hour for food (30 minutes for starters, 30 minutes for mains). To make matters worse, my son’s chicken tenders never arrived. When I asked, I was finally informed there was a "children's buffet." Had we known this when seated, we wouldn't have made hungry kids wait an hour for a missing meal. Breakfast Rudeness The next morning, the manager assigned us a table that wasn't made up yet. We placed our water beakers down, and a waitress rudely scolded us for putting items on an un-set table. I reported her unprovoked rudeness directly to the manager, who offered absolutely no apology. Basic hospitality and communication were entirely missing during our stay. Would not recommend unless you don't mind the poor customer service levels."
