"We recently spent 3 days at Ko’a Kea Resort in Kauai and was disappointed with the experience. The property looked much older and smaller than it appears online, and the “ocean view” room was quite far from the water. The pool area was very small, with not enough chairs for guests—we had to place towels on the ground to sit. Additionally, the pool bar was out of service one of the three days of our stay. When I raised concerns about the room not matching the photos, no meaningful solution or compensation was offered. I still had a wonderful trip overall, but the hotel was not a highlight. The one standout was the restaurant Red Salt, which was excellent."

"This cottage is rich in culture and amenities! But would I stay here again? No. The cottage curtains had mold in them. Our allergies kept acting up. They don’t do daily housekeeping unless you stay here for more than 4 days. They give you free laundry detergent and you can wash! That was awesome."

"We had a great stay in the deluxe ocean view room. Spectacular views, great beach to swim at. The restaurants were really good too, we just were bummed we couldn’t get room service the night we arrived. Other than that, amazing food at lava and rum fire. Coffee shop onsite was great too. Already planning or next trip"

"Nice spacious rooms with washer and dryer. Very limited free coffee, shampoo, conditioner. No restaurants in the hotel. Not walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants."

"My room was clean and the pool area, beautiful but I did look out on a barbecue station and there was a clunking noise from my neighbors pipes, I’m guessing. "
