"The room was spotless; guest services brought us to our room in a golf cart so that we didn’t have to tote our luggage; we were able to upgrade our stay to the Stargazer suite and really enjoyed the private hot tub; the patio seating at the restaurant/bar was amazing - we sat by the fire pit while enjoying our drinks all while overlooking the city of Tucson. "

"My husband and I stayed at the Lodge on Christmas Eve as a little staycation. We reserved the Delux Spa King and requested a room with a fireplace. We were very pleased to receive a message the next day confirming that we would be in a fireplace room. We arrived just after 4 pm for check in and there were a few people ahead of us in line. The front desk associate, Christian, was very friendly, helpful, informative, and efficient and got all of us checked in promptly. We headed over to the restaurant, Cielos, which was very bustling. The hostess was extra accommodating and got us a table in the bar area. Our server was Benjamin, who was also the bartender. He was extremely busy but he did not miss a beat taking care of us. His service was impeccable and the cocktails he mixed for us were outstanding. We had the chips/salsa, Manchego cream pasta, green chile tamales, and cheesecake for dessert… everything was delectable! The room was clean and spacious. We relaxed in the oversized jetted tub and the fireplace made the room extra cozy. The super comfortable bed and pillows made it easy to get a good night sleep. The grounds are very beautifully landscaped with lots of native plants and desert wildlife metal art. This along with the building architecture, represent the heart of Tucson well. The highlight of our stay was the grey and white cat that greeted us in the courtyard upon check in, bid us a good evening after dinner, and wished us a Merry Christmas on our departure!"
